Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! Reviews

Has about the depth of a kids book, no surprise it is such a popular success
Except you'd actually learn much from Mickey's Christmas Carol.
Full of truisms, brags and contradictions.
(Plus the author filed twice for bankruptcy says it all really) -
The book introduces concepts of cashflow, the difference between assets and liabilities and encourages you to become for financially literate. While the book isn’t a silver bullet for financial success, it don’t provide motivation and mindset to get you started, if you have the discipline to do so.

I am glad i red this book. It gives a great outlook about how we shall look at our finances, mony, wealth, investment, assets and liabilities. Great for financial dummies like me, it was quite an eye opener.

50% logical common sense stuff everyone should know but probably doesn't so that bit is helpful. The rest is a mix of very vague stuff so he can purely so he can sell you books or seminars.

Becomes interesting as you read on but I sometimes find it repetitive however just like what they say repetition leads to perfection and so I really don't mind!
I borrowed and read this book at my local library and I found it interesting and informative hence I bought this book via !
Now I can read this over and over again!
Remember: repetition equals perfection!!!
Thank you Mr Robert Kiyosaki! -
I have only been around poor people all my life, talking about money has been taboo. I am going to change this for my kids and take a jump into the property market

I read this 20 years ago and it changed my whole perspective on wealth generation.
I bought it again for my kids and started to re read it and it reminded where I had strayed from the “make money work for you, dont work for money philosophy”. Completely readjusted my investment strategy again and many thanks to this book for doing so. A must read -
I'm only half way in and I have already learnt so much, especially the differences between assets and liabilities.

A great mix of stories to give context, packed with advice, and summaries at the end. Great, great book I think my teenage son would benefit from this too!
