I gave this book 4 stars because it kept me interested throughout and I learned many new things. I learned that I was codependent and the cause, I learned to better place personal boundaries, I learned why I'm attracted to bad relationships, and I learned that many times internet romances don't work because the other person is never really interested in meeting me. They're only interested in being a perfect false persona. There were a few exercises in the book I can use to help me, but I think it's really more of a beginner book for me. I think I will have to look into other books with more extensive exercises to really fully heal. It was a great book though for what it introduced me to as a first step.

Helpful, truly, with great advice & heart-wrenching accounts. Editor dropped the ball as there were several misspellings/typos. But a good read for self-help purposes.
