The History Of Torture and Execution Reviews
-
It was an interesting read, but quickly became irritating due to the numerous spelling errors and seemingly poor sentence structure. Also bothersome is that there are zero references to the information given in the book. Besides that, I learned some things I was not aware of. Not a terrible book, but certainly not a great one.
-
Not knowing where the author gets their information. The author mentions ancient manuscripts, and writing. But never mentions which ones. I enjoyed reading the book, but I deffinatly think it could have been longer.
-
Purchased for a paper's research. Not great; not horribly useful. Kind of horror-movie in premise, rather than actual useful documentation.
-
This book gives a superficial explanation of the most popular forms of torture along with interesting information on each one.
