This is the ultimate fantasy lover book.

Christina, a 27 year old bank employee, is trapped in a job which under-utilizes her education and talents. She feels dead inside but as a responsible woman, works away.

Upon her grandmother's death, she discovers that her grandmother left her a 2 month vacation at "Golden Acres", what she believes to be a resort. Cristina takes a leap and heads 4 hours away from home, to Golden Acres

She discovers that this is no resort; rather, it is a working ranch. Hunky and hot oldest brother, Noah, picks her up and brings her to their large house.

This was a pretty short read, so if you think the price is high, I advise skipping it.

I actually liked this book, but I am not sure why. I think it was because of the heroine, Christina, more than any of the guys. She climbed out of her shell and made an attempt at happiness, only to have it implode on her. She was caring and open to differing opinions. Nice girl.

The heartbreak that all of them felt when Christina left the ranch to save her men from a threat was just sort of skipped over. Not entirely, but it was certainly rushed through.

And really, the ending was just ridiculous.. 4 people having wild, NOISY sex in a bank boardroom. It makes this sound like it was just another sex book, but it wasn't (not that many encounters, really). It was a book that had potential, but felt like it was rushed through.

And is that the sort of thing that protective, 'in love' romance heroes would do with their woman? Sounds more like disrespect to me... I'm just saying!!!!

I liked it anyway, but not enough to read it again.

As I was reading this story, I thought what a good book it 'could have been' if it was longer and more fleshed out instead of abruptly ending, the author had gone on and told us what happened with Christina and her men. Stacey Espino certainly has the creds as a good writer to do that (at least with me because I have several of her books and some are very good), so I am wondering why she didn't take more time with this one?

I have the Kindle version, and there were a few irritating errors that an editor should have caught.... maybe 5-6 of them.

I love reading erotica, but this book doesn't really fit that genre. Reading it just made me feel icky and I read just about any kind of erotica. BDSM, M/M, Menage, you name it, I've probably read it.

What this book actually reminded me of was a book I read when I was a teen, maybe 13 years old, that was published in the 1970's. It was about a woman pulled over by a cop in a small town and basically forced into submission. It was full of spelling and grammar errors and was just gross. That's what this book is - gross.

I read a David Sedaris short story once where he and his sisters come across one of these early 70's erotica books and it disgusted them in all sorts of ways. That's what I felt reading this book. It wasn't fun and thrilling and arousing, like good erotica can and should be, it was gross.

If you want a fun menage, try Take Two by Evangeline Anderson or Dual Abduction by Eve Langlais.

    Denise's Review

As I attempt to sort through ménage books to find something realistic and to my liking, I stumbled across one of popular author Stacey Espino’s cowboy books. Now, I have never really understood the cowboy thing—I know it’s a popular trope, particularly with ménage authors, but it has never resonated with me one way or another. This wasn’t the first cowboy ménage I read, but it was the first I read and, for the most part, enjoyed.

One notable thing I can say is Ms. Espino’s writing has certainly strengthened since the last book I read. The sex is hot, as one might imagine, and the premise is interesting enough to keep you in the story as well as keep the numerous characters straight. I suppose the one thing I didn’t completely buy was Christina—I never understood why she had three men eating out of her hand, or what was so special about her to make them want to share her. Having said that, I very much appreciated the fact that the brothers, unlike many other ménage books, weren’t looking for a nice girl to split between them; they each wanted her to themselves, and though the relationship that blossomed wasn’t ideal, it was something they could accept.

In terms of “do I think this is realistic?”, I’m likely to say no…but Ms. Espino reminded me with this novella that if crafted well enough, a good erotic romance shouldn’t necessarily be graded on how authentic it feels. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is a relatively short, smoking hot read, and fans of Ms. Espino’s work, and the ménage genre itself, will definitely want to whip out their credit cards for this one!

So, everybody knows that I like books where the lady gets her freak on with multiple guys at one times, right? It's true. I like menage story lines. That's not really the point here. The point is that I was about halfway through this book and I was starting to worry that the one guy I wanted Christina to get with was going to be the one she didn't end up with. I had fears! Menage fears! It was horrifying. Fortunately, everything worked out in the end and Christina got her four-way loving and I didn't have to worry. Whew.

I want to write something really deep here but I picked this book up because I wanted to read about sweaty cowboys having sweaty sex with the innocent lady who comes to stay with them. I don't think I'm going to be able to mine anything deep out of my need to read cowboy sex books.

So. If you're looking for a nice fast read with a load of cowboys, a bit of a mystery and naughty sex... well, you've found your book. And I can put any menage fears you might have to rest by saying that Christina does get to make sweet, sweet love with all her cowboys.

Catch me if You Can is a novel full of zesty moments as one erotic encounter after another unfolds between all the characters. I like how Ms. Espino included the danger the three men faced daily, giving this erotic tale an adventurous feel. While Noah, James, and Jake are all major characters and each are intimate with Christina, their personalities are very different which allowed me to savor each individual erotic scene that took place. This was one hot read.

When Christina is offered a perfect break from her dull life she can't wait, what she finds instead are three hot cowboys who give her the best two months of her life.
One brother who was left to care for his young sibling when their father left and now doesn't think he can ever find love. The younger brother who has spent his life going from girl to girl never wanting to all in love. And the half brother who is always on the outside.
And the one girl who can make them whole and find the love she thought she would never have.

I gave this book 4 stars and here is why:

How can you not love a book with not one, not two but three sexy cowboys in it. I mean I'm English and it still makes me hot under the collar.
The men are sexy but likable and so passionate they certainly brought a whole new meaning to erotic.

I will be reading more of Stacey Espino because although the book was kind of short, it was brilliantly written and I don't think I could of stopped if the world was crashing down around me.

I didn't really like the heroine at all. Extremely whiny and then when her life changes, the parents she was so concerned about are not even an after thought. 3 guys who've never shared being so okay with it? I could maybe see them doing that once in a while and then each of them having their night, but nope it appears it all or nothing. I just didn't get it.

Allromance.com's 12 days of Christmas free download.

Christina's grandmother sends her off on a 2 month vacation. Christina is expecting a spa resort but instead finds a ranch with 3 very sexy cowboys.

If you like sexy cowboys 1,2 or even 3 at a time, then you may enjoy this book.

I love a good menage story, especially one that features cowboys. Unfortunately this was not it. There is a good story trying to get out, but it is buried under too much telling-not-showing and time in the character's heads.

The book just dragged for me and I ended up skimming parts of it.

Another one of those rare erotic romances that balance story and steam, with characters that are more than cardboard cutouts... or blow-up dolls. ;-)

I really wanted to like this story, but for the life of me, I cannot see how one woman and three men is a realistic relationship. But the sex was hot...

  • Pamela Rosensteel

Christina is a 27 year old woman who works at a bank, still lives with her parents to help them with the bills, and hasn't had a real relationship with a guy since a disastrous relationship with her high school crush. Really, she doesn't have much of a life at all.

When her grandmother dies, Christina if gifted the opportunity to spend two months in the country, which she loves, at a luxury resort ... or so Christina thinks. In reality, she ends up at a slightly run down ranch with bothers Noah and Jake and James, the guy that Noah raised when their father took James in but then he abandoned them all.

Although Christina doesn't think much of her own looks, because she's not particularly tall and she's curvier than she thinks most guys would like, all three cowboys feel a strong attraction to her. And she finds herself attracted to all three of them as well. She thinks maybe one of them will be just the man she's been hoping for. What she didn't expect was to fall in love with all three of them.

Life on the ranch isn't all perfect though. A businessman is out to destroy the wild mustangs that roam over the land, including the Golden Acres ranch, because they are holding up his building plans. The men will do whatever it takes to protect the horses, but now not only do they fear for the horses lives but also Christina's.

I really enjoyed this book. Apart from the menage aspect of the book (which I definitely enjoyed), I could really relate and connect with the character of Christina. She's just this genuinely nice person who wants to believe that there is good in everyone. She knows that James is hurting inside, though he doesn't want to admit it. His mother gave him away to Noah and Jake's father, though he didn't really care for James. Their father never seemed to care for anyone or anything except women and booze. Noah just wanted to keep his promise to Christina's grandmother and make sure that Christina had a good time while at the ranch. With their age difference, he figures that if Christina were to choose one of them, it would most likely be his brother Jake. So he's a little hesitant to pursue her. As for Jake, he, in a way, lived a life similar to their father's in that he went through woman like water and never had a lasting relationship, but when he meets Christina, he feels that things could be different with her. He realizes that he doesn't want the life he's been living. He just wants her.

I have to admit, I would have loved more of their story. There was a conclusion, of course, but I wasn't quite ready to leave their world yet. I am definitely looking forward to reading more of Stacey Espino's work!

  • Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews

Most of us know what it’s like to live from paycheck to paycheck and not be able to take a real vacation because life gets in the way. So when you read a book with a subject that we can all relate to in our everyday life it is not hard to be drawn into the plot.

Everyone needs a vacation to remember and Christina Wolfe may end up with the best vacation of her life. Christina comes to life between the pages of the first chapter creating a feeling of kinship with her and making her real in your minds eye. It is great to understand and share in her feelings on many things, such as not wanting to disappoint her dead grandmother who planned a vacation for her. Her rambling feeling on the trip to her vacation spot -- her dread to return home after the holiday is over to a job she hates and the every day stress of the big city life.

Straight-laced bank teller Christina is not prepared for the vacation that Gram’s had plans for her. When author Stacey Espino works her erotic magic by introducing the brothers Noah, Jake and James things really pick up and the plot thickens as they learn what the most important things are in life and learn to live life to the fullest.

Three brothers and two months of vacation makes for some very hot sex scenes and believe me Ms. Espino does not skimp on the details or cut corners in the telling of this story. I do have to add that the boys do not get along and have a lot of personal problems so you can be sure of some alpha male conflict between the three over Christina and their individual issues with her.

There are a few editing errors but nothing that takes away from the story itself and may have been corrected since I got my copy. Nevertheless, if you want a book that will jump-start your libido then Catch Me If You Can is the book for you. Good plot, yummy sex scenes, and characters that jump out at you and seem so real. I am glad I was able to add this one to my library and enjoyed reading it.

When Christina's grandmother died, she left Christina a two-month vacation in her will. So, dull bank worker Christina heads off to Golden Acres. But Golden Acres isn't the luxury spa she was expecting, it's a farm run by Noah, Jake, and James (dear old gran's hot cowboy neighbors).

Noah, Jake (brothers), and James (an orphan) were raised by a womanizing drunk who was hardly ever around. As a result, none of the three have learned to love. In fact, all of them have a reputation as womanizers themselves. They know Christina is a commitment kind of girl yet none can resist.

Years ago, when Christina was used by her seventeen year old crush, she decided she was unlovable. She went on to become the most boring and sexless person possible. Why does she now find herself attracted to not only one, but 3 hot cowboys? And can she find the courage to do something about it? Just how many days in the country does it take to get to the smutty center of the dull bank worker? One...Two...Three...

I would have enjoyed this story more except little things kept pulling me out of the fantasy. Little things like:

    1. On the way to Golden Acres, the highway is closed down, forcing Christina to leave her friend (who was driving her) and walk a mile down said closed road to where Noah could pick her up. What-no detour? Oh wait, there's one mentioned on the next page. Why didn't she just use that?

    2. When she finally arrives at Golden Acres the first thing she does is take a shower, where she uses a razor she finds in the shower to shave. Seems a little ballsy to me, right? Besides, who doesn't shave before leaving for a stay at what she thinks is a luxury spa?

    3. Jake, Noah, and James don't even really like each other in the beginning, so how is sharing a woman going to work for them?

Anyway, the list goes on for a while. Despite all that, the book was definitely hot, hot, hot.

Somewhere between 2-1/2 and 3 for me, so I rounded up. Christina is a 27-year-old who still lives at home. She thinks she's helping her parents by paying them rent. She also has very little love life. Her one experience was from high school, and it didn't impress, plus the guy just left right away. So she's kept her goodies out of reach of any man. Her grandmother, who lived on a farm/ranch recently died and bequeathed a vacation for her granddaughter. Christina thinks she's going to a resort to be pampered for two months. She finds out quickly that's not the case.

Noah and Jake are brothers. They work the land their deadbeat father signed over to them. Noah basically raised Jake and James after deadbeat left when Noah was 15. Noah has turned their farm into a very profitable venture. They have two hired hands: James and Tyler. James was the son of a woman their father messed around with, but there's no blood between them. We don't get much at all on Tyler. Of course, Christina who doesn't get second glances in the city arrives at the farm and has three of the men drooling over her, but none of them think they're worthy, so they just stay away. Until they just can't resist anymore.

A few things bothered me about this book. Christina's first experience with James for one. I have no idea why she agreed to that. Sure, maybe he's hot, but he was an asshole for most of the book. The crude way some of the men talked to Christina seemed so cliched. I also don't know why Noah having a lot of money was even brought up -- it's not like Christina asked him about it or even hinted at her own financial problems. Also, there is no way in hell I'm going to have sex with three men on the conference tables at my place of employment even if I plan to never be there again. Just not gonna happen. Wouldn't be prudent. :-)

I suppose it was nice for everyone to get their HEA.

I don't expect much of a plot out of books like these, but I had to laugh at just how fast little miss I've had sex exactly one time during my 27 years of life, and it lasted all of 2 mins went from... "Gee, no. I need to keep my distance here." to "To hell with it! I love all 3 of you, take me!" ... Despite this the book was moderately well written, yet, I'm glad I got it free. :P

Good thing this was a freebie from ARe. Would have regretted spending any money on it. Full of spelling and grammar errors. Weak characterization. Heroine goes from nothing to slut in next to no time.

An extraordinary story, that I just couldn't stop reading. As soon as I finished, I checked on the internet to see if it was true as it sounded incredible and party unbelievable. ...Highly recommended.

  • ☘KathyD☘

This story is sweet and very hot...when it is not trying to be a suspense. The relationship between Christina, Noah, James and Jake is fun to watch unfold...what held this book back for me is the secondary story...it wasn't developed enough to be interesting or engaging.

I thought she was going to run off sooner based upon the BLURB (and title) but that doesn't happen til near the end so the title was deceptive for me. Very nice story!
