Attack Of The Unsinkable Rubber Ducks (Jack Parlabane, #5) by Christopher Brookmyre

I've read a few Brookmyre books before, including a couple of Jack Parlabane ones. This is very different.The narration from wisecracking Parlabane is as funny as ever in this tale of woowoo-peddling fraudsters and murderers. But the framing is particularly clever! The same snippets of dialogue, or philosophical quotes, or scene snippets loop. Déjà-vu? Or just a fresh perspective, another camera angle so you can see if you can spot how the trick is done. Not as action-packed as some of them, but I greatly enjoyed it. If I say too much about the story, I give the plot away, and no one's paying me for this, so just give it a try. Awesome stuff.
