An exciting new spy series for kids ages 8-12 from master storyteller Peter Lerangis. Twins Andrew and Evie must decode clues that lead to their missing mother, a spy on the run from a gov't agency.

It's been almost a full year since Andrew and Evie's mom disappeared, and the twins are determined to find her. They've been following her trail, decoding the clues she's left them. And that trail is drawing them closer to their mother than ever before.
But now the Company is on to the fact that Mom is communicating with the twins -- and they'll do anything to get to her first. The Company's agents are desperate to intercept Mom's messages. It's up to Andrew and Evie to stop them -- and to find Mom before her enemies do.

Proof Positive (Spy X, #3) Reviews

  • Azturpealean

Evie and Andrew get a package with messages then recive another package from their mom with clues that lead them to a secret tunnle than not even The Company knows about! what happens in the tunnle is....read it and find out!!!!!

  • Sasha

Man, oh man. This one was as good as I remember from back in the day. The twists and turns. I wonder how it will all end? I do have to say that the traitor codes were far easier than the ones their mom comes up with. I was able to solve them fairly quickly. This, in my opinion, should have been a red flag. Also, parents can usually see the texts their children send and receive. Even back in the day.

  • Hannah | Reading Under Covers

Okay, though. I can’t handle how many great twists these children’s books have.

  • Kaiden Adams

It was very interesting because I’m into this type of stuff. I really liked it and it had lots of detail.

Oh. My land. MUST READ FINAL BOOK.

This one ended on a cliffhanger too! And I feel totally surprised, confused, and pumped full of excitement. Seriously!

The twins - as well as the reader - must try to figure out who Andrew and Evie can trust. But it's not that simple. No one is as they seem. Or are they?

OH MY LAND, I CAN'T READ THE NEXT BOOK UNTIL SATURDAY NIGHT OR SUNDAY! D: But seriously, if you're reading this review, you MUST read this series if you like/love mysteries and/or spy-related stories. This. Is. Amazing.

Again, reduced the rating to four stars because of the whole disobedience factor as mentioned in my reviews for the
    first book and the
second book. But otherwise, it would totally be five stars.

  • London

I thought it was a great book. The only problem was that in the end it disappointed me. I felt like they didn't actually end the book. They didn't explain any of it really. Other than that, it was a great book.

great book. read the entier thing in like 1 hour & 30 min. I felt like my eyes were gonna fall out but I couldn't pull away!!!!!! So if you like amazing books and you perfer your bloodshot eyes out of your head sitting next to you, this is the book for you.

I love following the clues with kids my age. It may be a short book but it sure is a page turner! The ending was kind of shocking. They may have found mom but is she or Pa on the dark side? I can't believe they saw him in the tunnel. I don't even have the fourth book so I'm left hanging...

11 11 11 was the day Andrew and Evie's mom disappeared, and now it's almost 11 11 12. What are Andrew and Evie to do? Peter Lerangis writes a suspense builder until the end.

  • Patrick

Would be fun for a 9-10 year old interested in riddles/puzzles.

Twins Evie and Andrew are still on the tail of their mother who has been missing for 10 months. Through secret spy codes, the twins grow closer to their mom. But can the twins decipher the difference between false clues to lure them away from their mother and real ones that will lead them closer to her? I enjoyed reading this book, especially because of the added twist.
