Malala Yousafzai Collection 2 Books Set (We Are Displaced, I Am Malala):
We Are
In this powerful and emotional New York Times bestseller, Nobel Peace Prize winner and activist Malala Yousafzai shares various stories of displacement, including her own. Part memoir, part communal storytelling, We Are Displaced introduces readers to some of the incredible girls Malala has met on her many journeys and lets each tell her story - girls who have lost their community, relatives and often the only world they've ever known, but have not lost hope.
I Am
When the Taliban took control of the Swat Valley, one girl fought for her right to an education. On Tuesday, 9 October 2012, she almost paid the ultimate price when she was shot in the head at point-blank range. Malala Yousafzai's extraordinary journey has taken her from a remote valley in northern Pakistan to the halls of the United Nations. She has become a global symbol of peaceful protest and is the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. I Am Malala will make you believe in the power of one person's voice to inspire change in the world.
Malala Yousafzai Collection 2 Books Set (We Are Displaced, I Am Malala) Reviews
-
Great book. I almost cried so many times during it. It really puts your life into perspective. The trials and challenges that other people have gone through is just unimaginable, yet so many people are so heartless towards them. I’m glad these women have been able to share their story, it was very impactful.

This is a great book to build empathy for refugees. I’ve never read Malala’s book, but I need to now. Anyone who argues whether we take in refugees needs to read this.
-
We often take for granted our homes, our families, our pets, and the basic routines of our lives. It is painful to see how conflict can uproot someone from their normal way of life.
This is a great read. -
Such an empowering story after encountering such a hard experience that she had to go through after several displacements both internally and externally.

Anything with Malala's name on, I'm there. I wish I had had this book when I was in school!

This book helped to understand how awful it feels leaving your family, the land you grew up in and the friends you have to give up, wondering if you'll ever see any of them again. Or worse having to stay and watching all of the above getting destroyed and injured.
This book opened my eyes and they will never be closed again -
