"To rock bottoms and downward spirals, conquered and yet to be conquered."

✓Let's first talk about why I decided to pick this up and you should too:
    >I love reading poetry.
    >The title caught my attention.
    >Simple yet pretty cover.
✓This book is a collection of forty-six poems. The poems are beautifully written and pertain to diverse themes. Themes such as happiness, love and perspective have been incorporated. The words, chosen to express complicated emotions perfectly compliment the concept and the poems are nicely webbed.
✓"Make-believe", the third poem in this book became one of my most favourites. The author has nicely explained that our perspective and our beliefs play a major role in what happens around us.
✓The poems are short in nature and overall its a very short read. I liked the overall presentation. I think its worth giving a try, if you're into poetry and anecdotes.

"A Few Happy People" by Drishti Marwaha is a highly enjoyable poetry book that offers a unique perspective on personal growth and the human experience. The author's ability to capture life's fleeting moments and emotions with such honesty and eloquence makes this collection a must-read for anyone who appreciates the power of poetry.

There are 46 poems that are characterized by their introspective and nostalgic tone, which effectively captures the themes of grief, joy, longing, and retrospection. The author invites the reader to walk with them through the ups and downs of life, and in doing so, creates a strong emotional connection between the reader and the text. The poems are written in free verse, which allows the author to convey their thoughts and emotions with raw honesty and vulnerability.

Living a purposeful life, is what one aspires but hardly some people manage to get stability in there life. With a constant need to revamp ourselves and try to find our identities, we often lose the essence of being humans. In times like these, books like ’A Few Happy People' come to the rescue.

With this book, when I got an opportunity to read about life through verses, I immediately dived into it. Life is made up of many emotions a person goes through - love, friendship, hope, despair, separation and loss.

Mending a broken heart takes time and it is very delicate considering it involves the matters of the heart. The book also pinpoints how much it is important to heal yourself before you heal others. I enjoyed how the book slowly and steadily opened up itself to me and stirred emotions that I wasn’t aware I possessed

There were so many different types of poems in this great book. I personally related to many of the poetry. The book's cover art is equally amazing. Side Effects, Clear Cache, and Whims of a Different Me are a few of my favourites poems from the collection. The value of self-healing and optimism is emphasised in the book. The majority of the poems are rather brief, which for me just serves to increase their attractiveness. There are so many things in the book that the poet wrote that I can identify to.

You should definitely give the book a try if you're seeking for a compact collection of poetry because it's only about 70 pages long.
