Bob Morrison, a commercial songwriter, sits at his piano composing a jingle. Suddenly, he stops and drifts into reverie... He's back in college. With Jennifer. Jennifer Corley - young, beautiful, vital - she was the girl of his dreams. Ah, yes. The memories come rushing back... Their very first date. The ecstasy of falling in love. The shock and hurt when she chose someone else... And now, years later, he is successful, talented, rich. All his dreams come true. Except one. Somewhere, somehow, Bob knows he has to find his true love, Jennifer, again...

Very fast read. This the second time I’ve read this book - I also watched the movie; the book really makes all the difference to understand the character Jennifer because in the movie her character is one-note/ all surface and there’s so much that doesn’t really make sense as to why she behaves as she does (reading the book put everything together).
