    En lo argumental, no dudo que el guionista aproveche bastante el contexto de la 1º Guerra Mundial, pero la premisa de "pelotón" tratando de sobrevivir en la Isla Calavera ya ha dado todo de sí en la película del simio gigante en el MonsterVerse de Legendary Pictures. Sí que también cuenta con un gran reclamo de ese estilo visual tan "pulp" y bastante sugerente.

    I liked this a lot more than Kong on the Planet of the Apes. It takes place during WWI and some soldiers end up on Skull Island--some Nazis. The head nazi has some crazy hair. They run around and some get killed off by an actually frightening Kong. There is also a scene with a sea serpent. It's very fast-paced and filled with dread, and it has pretty good art. I enjoyed it.
