A Bride for the Island Prince Reviews

After Royal Wedding... I think I'm a bit obsessed with royal romance, I mean who doesn't like a story about a prince charming meeting a beautiful commoner? I think I've mentioned it to you that my favorite fairy tale ever after is Cinderella, so it makes sense.
Or... I just love romance...
Anyway, that's why I searched my Harlequin collection and found this book. Surprisingly, I enjoy the story very much, I mean unlike most Harlequin novels, this one actually has a story with minimum sex scene, very minimum or I could say, almost none. So, 3.5 stars for this book, or I'm just in the mood of royal romance story hahaha... blames me, I don't care.
Happy Mo(ster)day everyone...!!! A very long week awaits for me...

Good book. I loved Dottie and how wonderful she was with Zoe. She obviously was very good at her job, but was also a very caring person. In her quest to help Zoe, she also was able to help Alex balance his work and his private life. She tried to guard her heart, since she knew there was no future in a relationship with Alex. Alex was determined to do anything necessary to help Zoe, and was completely willing to do anything Dottie needed him to do. He also found himself coming to care for Dottie, and didn't know how he was going to be able to reconcile his two lives. While the ending was not a surprise, the way it happened was and was perfect for the book.

Abandoned about halfway through...

I thought the story was cute but I have to face reality, the chances of a prince or any member of the family marrying a commoner is like one in a million. It's a beautiful story if course but I had a hard time relating to it in any way because of this fact. I think Princess Diana was the only one I can clearly remember who had "commoner" as a title. The characters were lovely to get to know though and Zoe was a very sweet girl. I felt many different emotions in the book due to the extreme amount of loss placed in the novel. Overall a very decent read, it would probably be better if you could relate in some way though.

Ok this one was in a way simple and straightforward without any complications.
- I liked the heros devotion to his daughter
- I liked how he kept on his approaches to the heroine
- I liked how the kid fell in love with the heroine and got attached to her
I don't have much to say about this since it was straightforward and didn't have any complications, single dad needs help with his daughter, daughter gets attached to the heroine and the hero is starting to and viola a royal wedding
Overall, *75%* -
Sometimes I just need a royal romance in my life.
I was browsing through what my library had to offer and stumbled upon this adorable little book. I love squeezing in a HEA between my thriller reads and this story hit the spot.
Sexy father Prince meets loving a loving speech therapist while she helps his daughter overcome a speech problem. Absolutely lovely. The heat rating is pretty low since there was no descriptive sex but a few sexy kisses and a vague hit of sex near the end.
Overall I definitely plan to read more by this author and in this series -

A rather sweet story about a speech therapist who is hired to help a little girl and falls in love with the girl's father- who happens to be a prince.

Extra 1/4 star

This is once again like so many of the easy books that I get through in a day. Fast, easy and fun to read once again because this is a Royalty story it becomes a little unbelievable but still fun.
-
A sweet story - something light and whimsical. Not much for substance though.

Cute ❤️ Very much a happily ever after story 😁

★★☆☆☆
Sinopse:
Prince Alexius of Hellenica will do anything to help his four-year-old daughter learn to speak—which is why the intensely reserved and private royal finds himself opening up to bubbly children's speech therapist Dottie Richards. Dottie is a breath of fresh air in the palace, and motherless Zoe blossoms in her care—as does the reluctant attraction Alex feels toward his new employee!Behind her cheerful smiles Dottie guards her own heart fiercely, but it's never been in so much danger as from this cool prince with his dark, molten eyes.

Opinião:
Não gostei muito. A história é um bocado parva. -

Quite silly really - I am not sure why I am giving it three stars, except I do remember it, and I did finish it, and it was a simple easy short read, and I like a guy who loves his daughter. I did NOT need the second son to rise to kingdom to make the 'hero' any better, I thought that was just over the top. Sheesh!

I liked it. First time I've listened to a Harlequin novel on CD in my car. I hope more of them become available at my local library.

A little romance book. With Harlequins its a crap shoot. Some times you get a wonderful one, sometimes a terrible one, but usually a mediocre one. That's what this was. I thought all the speech therapist stuff was interesting but the characters were kinda bland. There were a few things that bothered me. 1) a prince? Really? How many handsome princes are available in today's world? 2) the sudden jumps in love bothered me. Whiplash inducing back and forth. 3) the marriage vows with 'serve' in them? I had them take 'obey' out of mine 'cause I knew I'd laugh out loud. It's for sure I wouldn't have been able to agree to serve him. And last 4) I think it would have been more interesting if the heroes brother could have fallen in love with a man. Just saying. Would have been interesting.
