Blonde Ambition (A-List, #3) Reviews

This book is ok, nothing special. It's not like most books where you cant take your eyes off it, I couldve left it halfway and never thought of it again. However it is a really short, wuick, fast read. Took me the best part of 40 minuits to finish the thing. Its all about 2 girls who are all snotty and cant tell the difference between love and lust. Its all about the bitchiness of girls, and jealousy. Blah blah blah. Wouldnt recomend to be honest.

I think this series gets worse as it plods along. I don’t have the words to describe how much I disliked this.

  • Bethany Light

    This book sucked

  • peyton

this is the most awful shit i’ve ever read

  • Lauren

I’m glad with the way the Author is taking Anna’s character but I still wish she’d end up with Adam. I think Adam’s new love interest is interesting and I’d like to see him get a gf so I’m happy about that. Dee is an annoying character I’m glad she didn’t really get any chapters in this book and I feel the same kinda about Sam. I wouldn’t say I love this series but it’s highly entertaining and these books are super quick reads. Definitely very YA and a lot like Gossip Girl or even a little Pretty Little Liars ish.

I liked seeing the softer side to Cammie in this one, but she's still terrible. Anna certainly hopped around... and I thought she was wishy-washy I'm the previous book. Good lord. The Hermosa Beach thing rang bells but I didn't recall anything that actually happened with it so that was a fun refresher.

  • Stefanie Witkowski

Some of the characters changed and some loose ends were tied up.

  • Sasha

    3.5/5

I picked this up at a second hand store not realising it was the 3rd book in series. But I actually enjoyed it, it was very quick and light to read. A well balanced amount of drama. Who knows maybe I'll pick up the rest of the series someday!

Blonde Ambition is quite possibly one of my favorites installments in the beloved The A-List series. Zoey Dean’s is known for her sharp, fun and fast paced story telling and doesn’t disappoint in this third book of the series.

It shows immediate growth in a few of the characters, Anna for example, and shows great promise for the others. We see a romance bud in an unlikely place and friendships shrink and grow. And of course a signature dash of family and relationship dramas. Zoey Dean is the master of teen friendly drama that levels the field with style, intrigue, sex and the constant battle of general teenage affairs.

It’s Gossip Girl meets a stylish, more laid back California setting with a dash of good ole 90210 drama and a whole lot of sass.

Blonde Ambition is a mix of everything we’ve come to know and love from the series and then some. We see second chances, we see strong friendships and other moments that make you go OMG. Blonde Ambition is The A-List in its prime and it’s something you will read quickly, unable to put it down.

My recommendations to have on the side?

Sunshine, your favorite drink, a killer pair of shoes and shades. It’s a beach read, it’s perfect for the summer and perhaps always will be with its fashionable description, drama and various pop culture references that have long passed.

Well... what an unfortunate conclusion for my 2017 reading challenge! This was a rather dull and pointless read. "Blonde Ambition" is the third instalment of the "A-List" series, and despite not reading parts 1 and 2 before, I don't feel like I missed out on much. I kept asking myself if I had liked this series any better, had I read it at an earlier stage in my life (as I definitely enjoyed reading Gossip Girl, for example). But, considering the flat and for my taste overly fast-moving storyline () and awfully misogynist wording ("But there was nothing she could do about her fire-hydrant calves and fat ankles." ?! Hellooo, what about all those buzzwords like body positivity???), I really don't think so.

It's official-- I'm out. Can't muster up any interest for any of these spoiled brat teens. Not even interesting anymore. Bye-bye Prada covered, Lexus driving, Jimmy Choo wearing chicks-- those bodice ripping dudes and their Regency ladies are infinitely better reading.

ive never read a book just because I want to finish them and this book is a record breaker. honestly, this book turned out to be an unimaginative waste of paper and ink.

See Marie's review. A teen, YA, book.

Uber rich Bev Hills High School girls -- again. Love and lust. Yes, it's real, for some of us. Heavy on personal growth, very short on plot. The girls are separating themselves into classes(!) and thinking minimally about college. No boy protagonists. Some boys are being led by the girls. The movie, Hermosa Beach, sounds a little interesting.

Everyone should take some serious classes and stop reading this stuff!!

Last book I can read of this series. I read the first one completely unawares that it was a 10-part series, felt compelled to give it a second (and now third) chance of redemption, but I cannot shake the feeling that I am reading the scripts of 90210 and Gossip Girl.

  • Ireland

This series is still just okay. I know this is only the third book but Blonde Ambition is definitely my least favorite one so far. I did appreciate the James Dean reference about 3/4 of the way through & Cammie still had little to no character development.

  • Danielle

Read this book first by mistake and absolutely loved it. Could easily have been a stand alone book but loved going back and reading the first in the series and rereading this in the correct order. Great romantic drama.

  • Ginger Rogers

    Dnf

  • Emma

i love when all the drama starts in the end

  • Sara Jordahl

An easy read. It's good enough to read once.

  • Amanda

Compared to some of the others, I really did not like this one.

  • Claire

lol i've read this multiple times.

  • Dani Mendonca

a dani de 14 anos tá muito feliz em ter encontrado o resto dos livros da lista vip e agora vai saber tudo que aconteceu com todos os personagens detestáveis 🥰

Towards the end, the book gets very interesting. Anna is juggling between 3 guys trying to find the perfect one. She finally picks her Adam and she doesn’t like the decision she made. So, she decided to lie to her Adam and go get Ben instead.
