a compilation of true stories about the author's quest to find God. In her voyage from atheist to believer, she gradually discovers that while God's face may not be clearly seen, the brush of His fingertips is often felt. In a personal treasure hunt for infinite value, the search for God in the everyday occurrences of life is humorously depicted in sometimes eerily strange situations.

The stories unfold from seemingly commonplace events to miraculous conclusions. Most of us won't find God in a burning bush, like Moses did, but like the author, we may find Him in a burning house...or perhaps, even driving a tow truck.

What if You Lived in the Midst of Miracles?...

    Welcome to an amazing adventure.

That is what you will experience as you read this collection of true stories taken from the author's life. Ms. Kaeorg guides the reader on a journey through her spiritual odyssey. At the beginning, she does not believe in God. She then lives through some incredible situations that clearly have the touch of God on them. As a result, she develops a strong belief in Him. Since that time, Ms. Kaeorg has had some remarkable encounters with God.

This volume was hard to put this down, and it is written in a very readable, insightful style. The stories were so compelling that I found myself reading different ones out loud to family members. Everyone who has heard me talking about God Drives a Tow Truck wants a copy of it.

Wow, this is a great book!

I really loved this anthology, and highly recommend it. To say this work is interesting is an understatement. The author writes so well, you feel like you are right there, living through these events along side of her. She writes with drama, intelligence and a touch of humor. This 5+star book would be enjoyed by anyone who likes true stories, or wants to hear of the miraculous taking place in someone's everyday life. I challenge you not to be affected by these accounts.

REVIEW: This compilation of stories from the author's life was an enjoyable easy read. Interesting stories that reminded me of some of the stories from Guideposts. It was a good reminder that God answers prayers in His own way and His own time.

FAVORITE QUOTES: "I learned that when God points the way, do not pause. Sometimes the window of opportunity is slammed shut on those who hesitate."

"....you never know when God is preparing your, or what He is preparing you for. But I am certain that every experience He puts before us can be turned into a blessing."

"Sin, like my hole, is conspicuously shaped like the worst part of us. It never goes away on its own, no matter how well we hide it. It will lurk there until we have the courage to confront it, and fix it once and for all -- no ifs, ands, or 'butts'."

What a wonderful collection of encounters. I was raised in a Christian home but turned my back on God in my late-teens and early adulthood. He was always with me, guiding and protecting, patiently waiting for me to come to my senses and enter into relationship with Him again.

I laughed and I cried and my heart was warmed over and over. Vicky is a wonderfully visual writer and I could see every story unfold in my minds eye.

PS My parents had a true-life encounter with God (or two of His Angels at least); not driving a tow truck but a rather car on a deserted desert road who just happened to have the exact part (the vehicles were not alike) needed to repair my parents disabled vehicle then vanish into thin air.

This book was a nice surprise. Ms. Kaseorg tells her stories with warmth and humor and doesn't mind laughing at herself in the process. Some of the true-life-incidents she shares are more memorable than others, but her honesty is sweet throughout and by the end of the book you feel as though you've found a friend. The connecting theme of the stories is how God has been (and still is) at work in her life, even before she recognized His hand or touch. I can surely relate to that, and I think you will, too. I might have chosen a different title, but I can't argue with a good read. Some of the last few chapters had me giggling so hard that I woke up my poor sleeping hubby. LOVED the humor!

This book is a collection of short stories from her life. She shares some from before her conversion and some afterwards. She sounds very honest and funny as she tells her stories and shares a lesson from each one.
I cracked up laughing at the image of a pregnant woman trying to move a heavy dresser by leaning on the wall and walking her legs up the side of it. Then she began to straighten her legs hoping to push the dresser. Instead, she created a hole in the wall. I still have that image of her butt stuck in a hole in the wall in my head. It was also an easy read since it was made up of a collection of short easy to read stories.

I'm finding this isn't the kind of book I will read through to the end but the kind I will pick up to read a few chapters at a time, between or while reading other books. It's beginning to feel too long to me, at 32% into it. Not saying I'm not enjoying it, I am. I just have to move on to other books - but keep this one close at hand and read each chapter's short, standalone story when I'm in the mood for it.

When I first read the title and then started reading this book I was laughing so hard. After the first story, I then started feeling so awesome that God does indeed drive a tow truck or what ever else you may need Him to do.

Very enjoyable. Short stories about one woman's road to becoming a believer and how God was always there in small and large ways, even when she doubted the exsistance of Him.

It really is the small things that prove faith.
