I really did enjoy reading these classic traditional literature stories. It made me feel like a kid all over again and brought back childhood memories. My first review will be on the traditional Cinderella story. Almost everyone know the Cinderella story. It's a about a young girl who lives with her evil stepmother and stepsisters under one roof. She was sad lonely and mistreated by all three of them. Cinderella had to cook, clean and take care everyone in the house until one day her fairy godmother mother came to rescue her. One day the king of their town was having a ball and all the young ladies wanted to be his date. All the women in town dressed to impress at the ball. Cinderella wasn't invited but her fairy godmother made it happen she got her a dress, shoes and a nice magical pumpkin to take her. She danced with the Prince unanimously and the clock stuck 12 and it was almost her curfew she ran away after she dance with the prince leaving her glass slipper behind. The prince looked for her all over town so she who could fit the slipper and she did. Her step sisters was upset that Cinderella was a fit and the rest was history. The prince and Cinderella lived happy ever after.

I also read The Ugly Duckling this story was about a mother who gave birth to several baby ducks one was different and unique they called him ugly and always hurt his feelings. Nobody wanted to play with him because he was ugly. I feel in both stories we should treat others like we want to be treated no matter how different they are.

I enjoy reading these simplified classics with Victoria it is especial fun to hear pre-disney versions of the faiyr tales and to hear fairy tales I wasn't familiar with.
