It's Just A Great read.

"Estão se arriscando em nome do quê?"
"De um sentimento perigoso e nobre, mas difícil de compreender!" Amizade! -
Sigo amando esta serie, la voy leyendo poco a poco para disfrutarla!
Va avanzado, y con ello rememoro mi preadolescencia -
Ah, W.I.T.C.H. So much of my childhood was spend obsessing over the series. The books. The comics. The cartoon. The merchandise. You name it I was into it.
So why only the three stars if I loved it so much?
Well as time went by, I grew disinterested in the series. I went along with it mainly to see how it ended. I simply wanted to know what the final outcome was.
Surely that is not enough to merit three stars? You loved it!
I did, but that was because I was a pre-teen with very low expectations. This came before my vampire-loving period, so you can imagine what my standard was like. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad books – they’re simply not something I can go back to now that I’m older.
Thoroughly enjoyable at the time, but not quite so much now. -
I used to like these series. Now, I don't think they're so good anymore. I got up to number 12 or something like that, and they've gone up to #26 or something... and they're still coming out!! I'm not really interested into them anymore, but I used to be.

Nesmím zapomenout ani na Elyon, i když udělala pár nesprávných rozhodnutí, samozřejmě i další důležité postavy : Věštce, Caleba, Joela, Orube, Cedrika, Matta, Luka, Erica, babičku Hay Lin....
Rozhodně to byla má nejoblíbenější dětská série, at už komixy nebo seriál. Doporučuji všem mladším slečnám. ;) -
This was a good re-read, the girls are growing into their powers and their friendship. They are really finding themselves as the Guardians, and they are really finding their teamwork. This was a fun and fantastic short read and these girls are always hilarious to read about. So enjoyable and brilliant.

Lmao this book reminded me of exactly why Cornelia was my least favorite as a child. Between her constantly going and will and her snobby attitude, she's still my least favorite character. And Hay Lin is still my favorite of the five she's so adorablely quirky. I enjoy reading about Eylon too.

In this book we learn more about metamoor and meet a new friend. We go on Will’s adventures with friends to metamoor to rescue their friend Taranee. Their astral drops reek havoc in their regular lives that they return to and now have to put out some fires. Looking forward to the next book!

K některým sériím bych se asi neměla vracet. A to jsem měla takovou
radost, když jsem ty knihy (po tolika letech) znovu objevila.

Brilliant fourth instalment of one of my childhood favourites. Still love it and so different from the tv series that was made. Continuing on on series....
-
This was the only book I owned from this series and I had read it so many times when I was younger. Was a comfort to read this again.

5/5 stars.

The Fire Of Friendship
Plot: In the last book Taranee is left behind in Metamoor. The remaining members of WITCH create an astral drop (a replica) of her so no one will notice she’s gone. Aided by the heart of Candracar the map points them to a portal into Metamoor. WITCH unite to find and save Taranee.
Strengths: I think there was supposed to be a lesson (given by Hay Lin) that while we may be different (sizes, shapes, colors, races) we really aren’t that different when it comes to the way we live. The Metamoor’s shopped, the kids talked about school and played ball.
My Thoughts:
*(Cool) Hay Lin’s new power. Kind of like another version of the pensive but without the wand and aided by a music box.
*Why is it whenever someone creates a magical astral drop (clone) the first response "Is that really what I look like from the back?" Where have we heard this before?
* The astral drop is slightly disturbing. Don't think I'd want to come face to face with myself.
*I think Matt and Will would make an adorably cute couple! As this is my first time reading these books I hope they end up together.
*I loved Taranee’s fiery transformation. A girl on fire indeed. Taranee finds a mental and physical strength she never knew she had.
*Did I miss something in the other books? She’s a telepath? (thinking back)
*I gave Cornelia praise in the last book in half this book she does nothing but criticize Will for leaving Taranee in Metamoor. If Cornelia was that concerned I didn’t see *her* being so quick to stay behind for Taranee. She needs to lighten up on Will sometimes. Even leaders make mistakes and I don’t really think it was a mistake. Taranee made the decision to tell them to go.
*Poor Will! Her head must be all over the place. But her astral drop was the most entertaining to read. Scary thought to think a clone could fool your parents and the people you love that easily.
*Irma should give Martin a chance. I mean yeah he’s a geek. Yeah she’s in high school and at this time in your teenage life image is everything, but here’s the thing. The ones you don’t like that stick to you that hard consistently are the ones that don’t tend to vanish in the long run after high school. When where are the popular, so-called “cute” ones?
*The scene with Will hiding from Matt was cute! It was believable. Lots of girls with crush's probably identified with wanting to run and hide a time or two (Me included).

This has unquestionably been the best book so far in my re-read.
In the last book, Taranee begged Will to leave her behind in Metamoor in order to save herself and the others - so Will listened to her. Cornelia was not very happy about that decision and thought it wasn't fair that Will got to make that decision without consulting anybody else first.
This book picks up where the last one left off. The girls make a plan to return to Metamoor and rescue Taranee. They use their magic to create doubles of themselves before leaving, so that their parents and teachers won't notice that they're gone.
On the way to their destination they will run in to troubles that they never expected, and discover things about Metamoor they didn't know before. But while they are going through these tribulations, Taranee is running out of energy to fight back against Elyon's manipulation and wonders if Elyon is right and her friends have really abandoned her forever.
A great book to this day and I hope that the rest of the series keeps getting even better!!! -
I loved this series! All of the different girls had their own individual personalities that made the series more enjoyable to read. Also, of course the cool magical powers was a plus. I loved the character relationships and adventures the girls got themselves into.
-
I love this series! I hate the t.v show, but the books/comics are fabulous. I have up to book 16 of this series
-
كانت كويسة بس مش أحلاهم :)
-
As an early one of the books I love how the girls are beginning to work together although they have little choice in this matter.
