Bull Run: Its Strategy and Tactics Reviews
-
Not the most complete book on 1st Manassas, but very good for having been written in the early 1900s. Not a hagiography at all, like many of the early books. In public domain, which is a plus.
-
Dated, but solid analysis of the first campaign of the war
