This is a great book! Wow.

This was a really nice overview of life in a specific desert in North America. It covered all kind of animals and plants, and how they interacted with different parts of the day in dealing with the heat. I liked the wealth of nice-quality photographs. The text was enjoyable to read. There were a few parts that I felt dragged a little, like toward the end, but overall, a very nice book to accompany your studies of the desert.
