Master Paintings in the Art Institute of Chicago Reviews
-
I have been to the Art Institute a number of times, and picked up this book while planning to go again. It offered useful and engaging insights into the most famous pieces in the Institute which enriched my recent visit. While wandering the exhibits, I jotted down names and titles of works I wanted to read more about, but when I got back to the book, none of these were mentioned. I realize the enormity of the Institute, and that the scope of the book is about the "Master Paintings," but I still wanted more!
