  I love this book. I love Aiman and Haider. I kinda like the slightly older man thing.
  I also love the drama. Adnan Siddiqui was a perfect pick for the role. And he is so handsome!
  Back in 2016, I would read it once in a quarter. Until I found Jannat Ke Pattay.

  کبھی کبھی ایسے چھوٹے سے ناول آپ کو زندگی کے بارے میں بہترین سبق دے جاتے ہیں، مجھے اچھا لگا کہ حیدر نے بروقت شادی کااچھا فیصلہ کیا کیونکہ ہر بار نہ تو وقت موقع دیتا ہے اور نہ حالات اور پھر ایک پچھتائے کے ہاتھ کچھ ہاتھ آتا بھی نہیں. دوسرا مجھے بہت پسند آئی یہ بات کہ حیدر نے چاہے جس رشتے کے تحت سہی لیکن اس نے جس طرح سے ایمن کی مینٹل گروتھ میں مدد کی، اسے ہر لحاظ سے اسے احساسِ کمتری کا شکار ہونے سے بچایا، اسے اپنی زات کی پہچان کروائی، اسے خود اعتمادی کا جو مان دیا، اسکے رشتوں کو اسکے قریب کرنے کاانداز بنا ایمان کو جتائے، یہ خصلتیں اعلیٰ ظرف اور تہذیب یافتہ لوگوں ہی میں پائ جاتی ہیں. تھوڑی سی نوک جھوک، کچھ شرارتیں، کسی حد تک سنجیدگی لیےاور مزاح سے بھرپور فرحت اشتیاق کا بہت ہی عمدہ ناول 💖💖💖💖.

  Both Aiman (Aima ;) ) and Haider are such great characters! Farhat Ishtiaq never ceases to amaze me, here she has shown us how love helps bring out the best in you. The last two scenes were 'it' for me, loved them. So full of passion. The whole novel is full of some great scenes, the emotions are raw and Aiman is not your typical female character who's hesitant to voice her emotions. Haider is quite a memorable character <3

  "میرے ہمدم میرے دوست" فرحت اشتیاق کی ایک بہترین تحریر میں سے ایک ہے۔ یہ کہانی ہے محرومیوں سے نکل کر خود کو قابل اور پر اعتماد ثابت کرنے کی۔ یہ کہانی ہے غلط فہمیوں سے نکال کر خود کو مخفی سوچ اور حالت میں لانے کی۔ یہ کہانی ہے دوستی اور پیار کی۔ یہ کہانی ام ایمن اور حیدر کی۔
  
  ام ایمن ایک چھوٹے پسماندہ شہر میں اپنا بچپن اور لڑکپن گزارتی ہے۔ یہ اپنی ماں کے ساتھ باپ کے بغیر رہتی ہے۔یہ اپنے باپ سے بہت زیادہ بدظن رہتی ہے۔ ماں کے مرنے کے بعد اسے اپنے باپ کے پاس جانا پڑتا ہے اپنی منفی سوچوں اور دل میں بسی کدورت کے ساتھ۔ وہاں اسکی ملاقات حیدر سے ہوتی ہے جو اسکے باپ کا بزنس پارٹنر ہے۔ حیدر کو ام ایمن سے ہمدردی ہوتی ہے۔ وہ اس سے دوستی کرلیتا ہے۔ حیدر کی مدد سے ام ایمن خود کو بدلتی ہے، اپنی منفی سوچوں سے باہر آتی ہے اور ایک پر اعتماد زندگی کی طرف اپنے قدم بڑھاتی ہے۔
  
  اس کہانی سے ہمیں بہت کچھ سیکھنے کو ملتا ہے۔ بظاہر نظر آنے والی چیز ویسی نہیں ہوتی جیسی ہم سوچ رہے ہوتے ہیں۔ اپنی سوچوں کو منفی رکھنے کے بجاۓ ہمیں اسے پازیٹو رکھنا چاہیے۔ اپنی ذات میں کیسے اعتماد لے کر آنا ہے♥

  Farhat Ishtiaq never disappoints.♥️ An amazing short novel highlighting many social issues including a personality of an inferiority complexed person, age difference love interest, positive side of a step mother and brother, introvert feelings of a father. The best part is Aimen's father was not that typical person who object her love interest due to age-difference. He agreed wholeheartedly with knowing the fact that haider is suitable for Aimen in every manner whereas Ilmas and Sair's character beautifully written as the writer shows the positivity of Illmas and Sair towards Aimen. ♥️♥️ Recommended !! 🫶❤️

  "Mere Humdum Mere Dost" is such a nice & beautiful story written by Farhat Ishtiaq. She writes romance in a beautiful and different way, Haider's character is amazing, how he helped "Aima" that was amazing, overall its one of the best read.
