Rive (Rua, #2) Reviews

    Rushed ending?

I don't know, but this storyline really could have stretched farther (a third book would've been nice because the story was so good!). It was still a great read; it just seemed kind of smushed together in places in an attempt to speed it up.

  • Deborah

Great book! The only thing I didn't like were a few character deaths.

  • Andrea Heltsley

I really enjoyed book 1, Rua. I was excited to get my hands on a copy of Rive. I knew it was going to be an awesome story and it didn't disappoint.

Rylan, Celeste's boyfriend is perfect for her. Learning who she is though, loving him might come at a price.

I also enjoyed the introduction of new characters blending with the old ones. Miranda did such a great job on this second book.

Celeste is also exposed to the Sidhe, a traitor and a brewing war. This book had all the makings of an awesome read.

My ONLY complaint is that this book was too darn short! There was so much more to the story that could have been explored in my opinion.

Even with it's stinted length, the story rocked. It's a great five glittery star young adult read!

This story has it all...action, mystery, and romance! I spent the last half of the book trying to figure out the mystery and once it was finally revealed, I never saw it coming. Kavi adds a few new characters to the story, one of which I totally fell in love with! Celeste really comes into her own and shows her strength and desire to be independent. She proves that she will do anything in her power to protect the ones she loves. Rylan's character is still protective but is still sweet as ever. And then there's Tink...I love that guy! Great sequel to Rua!

I really enjoyed these books. The story line had some similarities to other ya supernatural reads but was totally different at the same time. There were a few things that were rushed but trying to cram everything into 2 books can sometimes do that! Over all I enjoyed these reads and would recommend them to others!

A well crafted conclusion to the series. I enjoyed watching Rua grow from a shell shocked 17 yr old just learning who and what she is to a young woman who knows herself and what she need a to do in life. Lots of action and intrigue with just the right dose of romance. Highly recommend this duo.

I really liked the exchanges between Celeste and Rylan. It was a good ending to the series. I liked how everything wrapped up; some things, well most things I had been expecting but it was still an interesting and fast-paced read.

  • Shirley

I loved this book!!! It had action, drama romance and a HEA for the main characters. I wish there was going to be another book but I'm happy with the way it ended.

Awesome read. I loved the first book, and really loved this one. It was action packed, and romantic too. I loved the main characters. Great ending! I look forward to reading more from this Author.

  • Shirley

The final was a little forced, but in general I really like it.

  • Jilly

Really good. A believable heroine that wasn't ALL angst and hormones.

  • Lena Cheyanne
