  WoW! This was my first Chloe Cox read and may I say, WoW!
  
  Roman, is 110% alpha male. He oozes confidence, dominance and an insatiable appetite for Lola Theroux! But all Roman could do is protect her, after all, she is his best friend's little cousin; to want more would be wrong. And although Roman feels the same way towards Lola, he had his own personal reasons why it can never be.
  
  Lola's heart has always belonged to Roman. For years she has wanted him and no one else. But thinking Roman has no interest at her at all, she has learned to put those feelings aside. Yet whenever he is around, she loses her train of thought and he can easily bring her to her knees.
  
  Roman Casta and Lola Theroux run Club Volare. They are both dedicated to the club and will do anything to protect it. In the midst of a scandal about to break and ruin the club, the only solution for Lola and Roman is a marriage of convenience. For the plan to work, Roman and Lola needs to be convincing to everyone.   There are a few editing errors.
  The story is still extremely well written.
  It captures your attention from the start and leaves you breathless and grinning by the end.
  
  Not only do you feel connected to the two main characters, Lola and Roman, but you get a great impression of the other characters and their roles in Lola and Roman's lives. There were so many layers to this story. It really gets all your emotions involved.
  
  The steamy parts really heat you up.
  
  There is so much more than the sex in this story.
  Roman seduces you with his charm and fascinates you with his story.
  Lola intrigues you with her strength and seizes your heart with her fight to make sense of her emotions and make a decision that is right for her.
  
  I read 'Sold to the Sheikh (Club Volare Book 1) back in 2014. I loved it too, so I don't know why it has taken me so long to read another of her Club Volare books. I am so glad I finally bought this!
  
  In fact, I was so delighted with 'Marrying the Master' that I purchased and downloaded 'Free and Bound: A Club Volare New Orleans Novel, before I started writing this review.
  The novella to it is 'First Night' and I have already started reading it. I had to make myself stop reading so I could take time to write this review.

  Lola is Volare club mistress and have been in love with its owner Roman Casta since she met him.
  Roman has seen himself as a protector since he took Lola out of a difficult situation which could have been dangerous and fatal but after Lola healed he found himself becoming attracted to her feisty submissive character but with her being Romans bestfriends cousin and healing he never made a move on her. Roman also himself has dark memories that make him hold back with Lola.
  A dirty politician finds out about the club and try to enforce a very old law where a unmarried women can't be in charge of a sex club, so Roman propose to Lola but Roman slowly chips at her heart with his rules and trying to keep things separate.
  Roman was a total dick and i really struggled to like him most of book. that is until he realises he cant go on without Lola. he does make it up in end but only because he really worked at it.
  Not sure I'm that bothered about Chase's book because you really don't know much about him but so really enjoyed this series. absolutely fantastic ending and HEA

  This may just be my favorite thus far in the series. You do not have to read the stories in order but I would personally recommend you do. Lola Theroux wanted Roman Casta forever. This is a great story of two people fighting their attractions for each other both for the wrong reasons. I love a bit of kink with my romance and Marrying the Master did not disappoint. I would call this book more on the light side of BDSM and Roman just isn't quite bossy enough for me, but I really enjoyed this book. I really liked Lola, she had been through so much and was putting her heart aside to do what was right to save the club. I felt connected to her, I felt her struggles and wanted her to get a HEA. It was also nice to see some of the characters from the previous books back, see how things have progressed for them. A good read, I would recommend!

  This is a must read book. Roman and Lola was made for each other. To save Volare Roman and Lola need to get married. Bad part is Roman doesn't realize that after all these years he is in love with Lola because he us still carrying around the guilt of not protection his first wife from death and Lola is afraid because she has been in love with Roman from the beginning and she was dealing with the hurt of past Dom. When they get together their feelings start to explode to the point that they can't be away from each other. This story is about learning to let go of the past and move on.

  This book is part of the Club Volare series. I read the first book years ago and enjoyed it. Usually when this happens I either get the next book in the series or put it on a wish list to get at a future time. It looks like this series somehow fell off my radar. I skipped the next two books, and got this one as part of my Kindle Unlimited account.
  
  I loved this book. It was the right mix of attraction, angst, and well-written characters. The Club is a BDSM club but this is really a minor element other than the fact that Roman is a Dom and Lola is a sub. There weren't too many scenes with strong BDSM elements and the few scenes felt authentic to the characters.
  
  Lola has known and worked for Roman for years. She has loved him from afar and convinced herself that she's mostly over him. A cheating ex has really done a number on her ability to trust men or have confidence in herself. Roman goes behind her back in an effort to protect her and causes an issue which results in the need for them to marry to protect the club. This seems confusing but is explained well in the story. She agrees to marry him and their increased interactions cause him to act on the attraction he's had for years. Problem is, he's not a real relationship guy and she is having trouble trusting him after the ex and Roman going behind her back.
  
  The sex is hot, and the confusion feels real. It's a typical plot with a fake marriage involving two people who don't realize they love each other, but it's done really well and feels authentic. I loved every minute of it!
  
  At the end of this story there's a short story that feels a little disconnected. It jumps forward and I think it's set after the couple in the next book get together but I'm not sure. It's a good story on its own so far but I haven't finished it yet. This review is just about Marrying the Master.
  
  As soon as I finished book four, I downloaded book five and I'm looking forward to it. These are stand alone stories, but the characters can reappear.

  I hate giving bad reviews since I know this is someone’s labor of love, so I’m calling this review constructive criticism. The truth is I just couldn’t finish reading the book, believe me, I tried!! but I just couldn’t. I know this is one of a series, but it said that it could also be a stand alone read; maybe if I read the books before this one I could have gotten more into it.
  In my opinion the plot in this book is flat, repetitive and it goes to business way too fast. The characters are boring and have not much depth. The story needed to have something more interesting to catch my attention and it just didn’t deliver in that end.

  I listened to this book on audio and really enjoyed it! The only complaint I had was it was only one voice doing both the characters. I like it better when there is a guy doing the H's voice. I will say that she did very well with making different voices. I listened to this on a long drive.
  
  This was a very good story, steamy sex, and well written. I love the Club Volare stories and look forward to more!

  I really enjoyed the Audible version. Happy ending, but the road is rocky. She is afraid to be hurt again, he wants her physically- but Is that enough?

  I bought this book because I saw it listed for $.99 and the synopsis/description sounded good... I was NOT disappointed. I hadn't heard about this series before I bought and read this book. I may now have to consider reading the others. This book can be read as a stand-alone (luckily for me).
  
  Lola and Roman run a very exclusive BDSM club. When a politician threatens the club, the only way to save it is for them to get married. Not a problem for Lola, she's loved Roman since she first met him. She also knows she'll never actually have HIM since his heart is still pining for his late wife. Lola also happens to be the younger cousin of Roman's best friend.
  
  After agreeing to marry him to protect the club, Lola finds that they not only have to convince the public that they are in love but they need convince the press and their friends as well.
  
  Lola is a switch (dom AND sub) and Roman is a dom. Lola needs to act as Roman's sub! Lola hasn't been a 'successful' sub since her ex who broke her heart and lost her trust when he cheated on her. One night with Roman changes her whole world.
  
  - a couple of time I wanted to reach through the book to slap one of the characters.
  - the club was just a location, there were NO BDSM scenes that one would find in that kind of club. (I'm not big into BDSM so it was good for me)
  - Roman's emotions occasionally went from 'dom' to lover in the blink of an eye
  - Lola occasionally went from a strong woman to an emotional wreck in the blink of an eye

  As the description says this is part of a series but can be read as a standalone book. I thought this story was fantastic. Club Volare is a BDSM club and it's membership is a secret. Of course some snobby politician thought he would make a name for himself and try to shut down the club. The one way they could save it is for the club manager, Lola and the majority owner, Roman to get married.
  
  Now I know you've probably read books that the main m/f characters are secretly in love with one another. Ok...well same instance here however there's a twist. Roman has serious issues. He's a widower and blames his wife's death on his lack of protection. Therefore he won't commit himself to any woman because they just can't compare to his deceased wife...until Lola.
  
  Every D/s book I've read "protection" is a huge deal with the Dom. It's like the man is midevil or something about protecting his woman. I think it's endearing but holy cow can Roman go overboard about not being able to protect his woman. I felt like saying...dude it's the 21st Century...she can take care of herself...and has been for a long time now. (rolling eyes)
  
  It's great to see that a submissive can take on her Dom when he's being unreasonable and Lola does just that. Roman looses the one person that can change his life and now has to scramble to make things right with Lola. The question is will his plan work or is it too late???
  
  I rated this story 5/5. It's a great read. Check it out. :-)

  I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Unfortunately, 50 Shades of Grey kind of left a bitter taste in my mouth. After all of the raving reviews, I finally gave in and read it only to want to erase my memory immediately after. It's unfortunate that people consider that a well written book. Now I have trust issues. How can I possibly trust people to recommend me a good book without having horrifying flashbacks of the book that must not be named. Eventually I wanted something different to read in the romance category and I gave into Marrying the Master. Guess what? It's good! Why?
  
  To start, this is well written. Though I did find a couple of mistakes, it is not full of sentence fragments, missing punctuation, spelling errors, and poor grammar. It's amazing that even some of the worst books I've read I can at least find a good point about them because the writing was readable. Chloe does a great job with this novel and I assume she had an editor on her side...

  Roman=WOOF!!! I've been anxiously awaiting Roman's book & was not disappointed. This is the story of Roman & Mistress Lola (the other manager of Club Volare) which I was surprised to learn is a switch. Who knew? Apparently, Lola's last foray into submission ended in disaster making her gunshy to try again until a series of events culminates in her having to marry Roman Casta, excuse me Master Roman. Obviously, he requires her submission as he is no switch. As it turns out Roman & Lola have known each other for quite awhile & with that history naturally comes some baggage. Nevertheless, these two are smoking hot! This is probably my favorite of the series although the first one was quite good. Actually, Bashir & Stella play integral roles in this one & it was nice to catch up with them. Yes, there is some melodrama but I didn't think it was over the top. Both characters handled themselves like adults & I liked both of them which is something of a rarity.

  This was fabulous Chloe is now my favorite author! The plot was great and the whole idea with the club series is great I know I have jumped into not at the beginning but that is what I love about the book also one it is a standalone book to there is a happily ever after three it flows beautifully for it has a great great fabulous scenes in it and there is just so much other things going on the book. I enjoyed the relationship and how I was right there with them as I was reading it. And the author knows how to write romance stories!
  The whole club scene or club idea is great and I'm in a have to go back and read the other stories books which will want to be crazy because I know what happens with Roman now but to have a classy BDSM club and have HGA stories with great scenes and great characters that you can really love as a reader well it's just with this reader wants!

  Marrying the Master is a great sexy read about a hard to get man and a protected sub/employee. Lola runs Club Volare in New York City, one of the most exclusive BDSM clubs. Unfortunately, she finds her current Dom and lover in bed with another woman.
  
  Roman owns the club, but since his wife died he has been unable to develop a long term relationship with any sub. But this is about to change. Club Volare was featured in an article in a magazine that not only gets the attention of a Senator (who believes that all BDSM clubs should be closed)but also generates a lot of media attention for the club and the Manager Lola.
  
  What starts out as an attempt to follow the law (the senator finds an old blue law that is still in effect)turns a fake marriage into a hot, hot, sexual D/s relationship. But the biggest question of all is: Can they learn to trust each other.

  Another great book by Chloe Cox! I totally fell in love with Roman... he was so gentle, yet so dominant with Lola. I knew he always had a thing for Lola, but how he makes that known throughout this book is beautiful. I love how Roman becomes crazy like an animal when Lola wears dresses (he just has to have the dress off and have her!). Lots of sexy-hot scenes throughout the book... well worth the read. I'm now looking forward to reading the next book about Chance!

  I really liked this series until this book. I don't know if it was the terrible audio or the suddenly spineless Lola, but this book missed the mark for me.
  
  First, the audio was so atrocious for this book, unlike the rest. The men who weren't Roman were either Andrew Dice Clay or whiney frat boys. The women were simply valley girls, including Lola at times. So annoying. The only voice that worked for me was Roman, even if over-done at times.
  
  Second, Lola was this fierce, confident sex club manager in the first few books. Then, when it was time to tell her story, she was a spineless sub. She was needy and whiney and nothing like she was written previously.
  
  Taking a break from this series now.

  I have to admit that I purchased this book thinking it was the first in the series since there was no # in the title. Once I realized this was #4! I was ticked as the others have the # in their title. I looked at book one and it did not interest me at all, a sheikh?? Really?? And it appeared that since each book was about different characters I would be safe just starting with book 4. WRONG!!! This book did not have any character development. I thought Roman had something up his butt the entire book. And there wasn't much story here at all. So boring!! And for this being a series about a BDSM club, where was all the sex???? Nada even happened in the club. Blah!!

  This is just a hot book that you can not put down. these two have been building in the other books but it all comes to a head. Roman has wanted Lola but his own preservation and some of his own fears have kept him from claiming her. When the club needs them to marry for legal reasons Roman promises himself he will not hurt her and will marry her in name only. However this does not last long. With one touch both Roman and Lola know it will never be enough. I like how though Lola is a switch she shows that she can be strong and vulnerable all at the same time. I would highly recommend this book to anyone

  I got this book on the belief that you didn't need to read the other three to know what was going on, I will admit I enjoyed the story. It was a wonderful experience to read about Roman and Lola, but I do believe you should read the other three stories before reading this one. There are lines in the book that reference the other stories that will eventually drive you to buy the others just to know the whole story. I will end my review with this I really liked this book and can't wait for chance's story.

  This is the only book of this series that I have read and I found it complete wonderful as a stand alone book. This is a story of two adults resisting their love for one another because they just aren't supposed to be together for no other reason then, they care too deeply about one another and do not want to upset their cousin/best friend who is the link between them. It's lovely to watch the both of them admit and trudge through their true feelings for one another.
