Yes, the usual editing issues made their appearance.
Also, as much as I like the series, I pretty much skipped over the sex part. Not a huge fan of reading the details of a sexual encounter when there's more to the story that I would like to get to. Especially not interested in reading about 16 year olds doing it.
This book covers how the Guardians are trying to save the Angel world from total annihilation. The one being that they trusted unquestionably to help save the world has betrayed them afterwards and is leading a semi secret race of beings called Quo, who are half angel and half human, on a fear quest to kill Angels. The Quo are convinced that Angels will destroy them, so they need to be wiped out. Some Quo are not convinced and try to help the guardians. The book ends with new leadership of the beings who are helping the Angels and an ultimatum that causes pain and anguish to the first guardian and human. -
This is one of my favourite books of all time and I would seriously read this over and over. Lola StVil is the best author out there and she is my inspiration for writing, I love this series its soooo awesome !!!! SPOILER !! I hope Bianca gets run over, by a bus, with poisened wheels, in front of emmy, I would really enjoy that. Or maybe Rio could kill her... If only.... When Reese came back I was like YOSSSHHHH but then it was an illusion and I nearly started crying TT^TT

Loved this installment of the series ... but wish it had been a bit longer! I finished it in basically one sitting. There were A LOT less typos and grammatical errors than in the other books ... yay! I can't wait for the next book!

Lola dose not disappoint in the continuing saga that is The Guardians. It was nice to find out about other characters and see some of the story from a different point of view.
I will be waiting for part 2 -
Another hit out of the park by Lola St. Vil. She leaves you intrigued and wanting to know the whole story from the moment you read the first page.

When I finished Book 4 of the Guardian series I was
beginning to lose hope in the series, the main reason being that there were just way too many typos and grammatical errors through out the book.
I decided to read The Quo because I love the some of the characters in this series, the drama that is happening in the world and the angel world, and I was intrigued to know what happened next. I was not disappointed.
As well as there not being many spelling or grammar errors at all, I was pleasantly surprised at the new adventure the Guardians find themselves on, and as usual, Lola has left Part 1 on a cliff hanger, leaving you wanting and needing to read
the next book as soon as possible. -

Okay, this review is not just for this particular book (I'm putting the same version on each book) but for every single hair pulling book in the series. I have rated the books mostly 4's and I'll stand by that because the story, had it been about something like super heroes, rather than "angels/demons" it would have been great. But...they're not. They're about...um...Lola St. Vil's warped idea of angels. Here are my MAIN issues.
1: She is obviously either an Atheist or not of a Christian religion because she actually has it that when people die, they become Angels. NOPE, wrong. Angels were created by God to be pristinely good, he created them all Male, and it is mentioned in the Bible that people do not go to Heaven or Hell immediately. They're lying in wait (something like asleep) until the day of Judgement. At that point they will either enter Heaven or Hell, but NOT...NOT NOT NOT as an Angel or Demon.
2: Even if people could become Angels, she has what she calls Originals, created by God. However they are as immature as 14 year old children. My case in point would be Raphael fawning over Miku/Redd like he was a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert. This was disgusting. Angels would be NOTHING but professional or they would be kicked out of Heaven. Which brings me to the next issue:
3: Angel prison? Angels on drugs? Angels having Sex? She's missing a MAJOR issue here. Again, Angels are pristinely good. There is an Angel prison, it's called Hell, and only one angel ever went there. Satan himself when he fell. Pristinely good beings would never even be tempted nor affected by Drugs. And God created all Angels, there is no need for them to procreate, and being that he created all Angels Male...it would be kinda hard to do that even if they could. COME ON!! I was ready to claw out my brain cells that had been "fortunate" to survive reading these books up to this point!!
4: What was with renaming everything/one? What in the Hell is Difi? Because it's definitely not Hell...Who is Omnis. God is God, he goes by different names depending on who is talking about him, but trust me, Omnis is NOT one of them. And why is he so powerless/nonchalant in these books? If you're gonna change the name of everything and everyone, why keep the Original's names? Gabriel, Raphael, why not call them Kanye and Fred?
She should have taken the whole "religious" aspect (and I use that word LIGHTLY) out, and instead created the Guardians to be some sort of Super Hero group. Maybe they were given special powers after they died by a race of aliens, or something similar and they were given the task to save the world from another dark race of aliens intending on ruling earth. THAT would have made every issue I had with the book be a NON ISSUE!!
But instead, Lola St. Vil had to make a complete MOCKERY of Christianity. Very disappointed...very disappointed!!
In this book and the following books she can't even remember what she said created the Quo...were they a mixture of Angel and Demon or Angel and Human? She has it both ways. -

The only problem I found I had with this book is that it wasn't long enough. I read this book in half a day, and I am now gutted I have to wait for the next one! -

Talk about suspense poor Emmy has been through so much throughout this series and it's about to get more complicated:/ I love this series however and am on to the next chapter of it to find out what becomes of it start at book one which is free currently on Amazon! I give this book and all the ones before it 5 stars love the writing there is a lot of punctuation errors but worth overlooking for sure! -
What an absolute disappointment, this is the first review I have ever written because I need to share my absolute frustration with these books. The author knows how to write a captivating story, but the editing is sorely lacking. Each book in the series has more and more spelling errors. What a great story, such a pity about the spelling errors. It is a disgrace to charge more than $0.99 for a book with so many errors.

I have read all the books in this series and if you want, love, heartbreak the ups and downs good vs evil human vs guardian vs deamon vs love these books will not let you down now anyone that has read thus far are all wondering if the love with win out or the sucky gods rule in favour of the grater good :{

Love this series
I loved this book. I can't stop reading them, no matter what my boyfriend or my bank account says. I just have three books left and it's not like I have a choice. I have to find out what happens next. I think I can relate to Emmy. And like guys, when it comes to books I like the ones that can make me laugh. -
I was drawn into these books from the start but this book, even though brilliant didn't get me excited to continue with the series! I really like the angel but the human? She's so annoying I can't continue to care what happens.

Lola does it again
I can never decide who's side I'm on more. Marcus, or Emmy but it seems once again the lines are drawn. At what point do they stop fighting? At what point are they just killing themselves to try? -
I love the book i just started it and finished it in less than 5 hours but I hate the whole Emmy and Marcus love. Why whenever is going well for them something happens. I will take a time out from the Guardians because I cant handle it lol

This series keeps you on your toes that's for sure. I can't believe how many twists come within one book alone. I can't imagine what the next story will have in it but I'm hoping for a happy ending for Marcus and Emmy
