An affair with a billionaire brought more than she bargained for...

A passionate six-week affair in Italy leaves Jada Thompson pregnant, and the man she thought was just a local nobody turns out to be one of the richest men in America. Billionaire Renzo Mariani owns one of the top five wine and spirits corporations in the country. Telling herself he has a right to know about the baby and that's the only reason she seeks him out, Jada arrives at Renzo's mansion and finds out just how rich he is. She's in over her head, and the only thing left to do is walk away.

What she didn't realize was that Renzo wants more and Jada arriving on his doorstep gives him the opportunity to reignite the fire they shared in his motherland. Even if she runs scared from him, Renzo plans to have Jada on a permanent basis—body and soul—and nothing he's ever gone after has escaped him for long.

Baby Mine Reviews

This is Jada and Renzo's story. I loved that Renzo knew that he loved Jada and that Jada loved him even though she did not say it in words to him. He believes her version of everything and defends her when accusations are made about her and who is really the father of her baby. He goes after her and stays with it until she admits her love for him. It was just such a great read, I really loved it!

This was an awesome read and we highly recommend it. The character interaction is explosive. Jada and Renzo are a great pair. I loved Jada's wit and independence and Renzo's sheer determination to have her regardless of what anyone else thinks. The feelings they have for each other are tender, touching and very hot. Just the thought of looking or even thinking of a person and that turning you on is wonderful. This read was very entertaining and compelling. Tressie Lockwood is a great author and she always gives us a great story.

Baby Mine has the potential to be a great read with it's storyline. I would have enjoyed seeing more character development with the protagonists. I felt as though I walked into the middle of a story already in progress. If Ms. Lockwood had started with the couple's initial meeting and some additional backstory there might have been a better connection with the reader to the characters. I had high expectations because of Tressie Lockwood's other stories that I have enjoyed very much

  • Angelia

Really loved this story.....only one problem it was too short.....Would love to read more from this author.......the chemistry between Jada and Renzo was ooh so HOT and STEAMY!!!!

  • Mel

This book was okay. I'm the first to admit I love a steamy read, but there was too much sex and not enough character development for me.

  • Natalie

I think this book could have been developed more,at times Jada was annoying one min she wants to be with Renzo next she does not want to be

Jada kind of rubbed the wrong way. She flies to California to tell Renzo about the pregnancy. But in the next breath, she says she doesn't need him. Then when she does fly home, she questions why he let her go. Then she was always shutting him down, the man had the patience of a saint to deal with her. This is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because while I enjoyed Renxo, Jada got on my nerves.

Easy to readand fun. Didn’t get into too much drama so that’s good. Liked it a lot.

I had so much fun reading this. With a great storyline and awesome couple, you can't help but root for them. Renzo and Jada's relationship developed beautifully and very convincing, even if it was just a short story.

Jada was a bad-ass heroine. Sassy, smart, beautiful, independent, and does stand up for herself. I loved the way she carried herself, especially the way she defended herself against Renzo's Uncle.

Renzo. *sigh* I loved Italian heroes. There was something special about them. Maybe because when Italians fall in love, they fall hard and are very family-oriented. And in this book, he doesn't have the upper hand in their relationship, which is really fun to watch and refreshingly new.

My favorite scene was when Renzo showed up in Jada's home, told her his feelings, and showed her how much he loved her. You have to love a guy who is willing to go to such lengths for the woman he loves.

Plus, the sex scenes between them were scorching hot.

Baby Mine was a quick read that brought cheesy grins and smiles to my face pretty much from the start. In the end, I just kept wanting more from these couples.

This was the first book I've read with a black heroine and Italian hero. Me personally, I would have liked to see how they met and how their feelings developed before they jumped into the affair. Jada is a strong woman but I disliked the fact that she's affected by everything Renzo does ex. touches her, looks at her etc etc. She's so horny! They had sex in every single chapter, like come on. But over all it was a really good read and Renzo is amazing!
