3 stars!!
Hmmmm...I guess this was a cute read? I mean, there's some angst but not a whole lot plus I actually liked weirdo Beau the most. He's the one character I have hope for; the others fall in love with each other at first sight. There are a few typos and I thought Sabrina's instant love/attraction/lust for Wade was dubious considering how attached she was to Beau at the moment. Though there are two dudes mentioned in the blurb, I didn't find this to be a love triangle story.
Overall, a nice short read full of cheese...
A one,
and two,
and more,
and LOTS more,
and all different kinds too!
Oh for goodness sake, let's just throw in a whole slab of cheese!
It's enough to make these yummy thingies:
Oh and maybe an add on to grilled chicken and mmmmmmm...
Soup anybody?
Pizza rocks!!
I'm so hungry! *stomach grumbles* -
My thoughts after I read this book were
Sabrina aka Sabra a one hit wonder singer many years ago. She is given the President position at the record company by her uncle who is sick.
She unfortunately has been tied to creepster manager Beau in some odd relationship for the past 10 years.
She needs an assistant and in walks young hottie Wade who is looking for his way into the record business.
She is very attracted to Wade right off the bat even though she's six years older than him.
***SIDE NOTE: I think one of the pluses of this book was the female was the boss and the male was the assistant whereas its usually opposite in office romances.
Wade and Sabrina just click immediately.
He seems to know exactly what she needs when she needs it and is a very effective assistant.
They just work well together...
But Beau starts trying to woo her back when he sees competition and the attraction between her and Wade...
I will say there was low drama in this book and I was pleasantly surprised with the direction the book took regarding Sabrina, Wade, and Beau. The best way to describe this book would be just to say it was cute overall. Just a sweet, cute read.

5 stars!!! Sweet and Sexy!! Loved It!
IT'S LIVE!
http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Harmony...
A completely unique story that had me wrapped up from the first page... A story of one woman finally finding and believing in herself and the beautiful man that helped her find her way. I ate this one up!
Sweet Sabrina Walker.. former pop princess now working at Confessions Records..her uncle's label and also the label that launched her short career as "sabra". She no longer dreams of being a star.. she just wants to help Confessions be the very best that it can be. She loves her job, her uncle, and the label. But she doesn't just want to be completely behind the scenes anymore. She wants to be able to make a difference, make big decisions..she's just ready for MORE. More that the "one hit wonder" that now works at her uncles label.. MORE
Sabrina...
Finally Sabrina gets the chance she's been dreaming of.. her uncle and President of Confessions needs to take a medical leave of absence and he's decided to place Sabrina at the helm of Confessions. She's ready.. a little nervous but ready. She's going to need the perfect assistant.. one that can anticipate her needs and help her take on her new responsibilities. responsibilities she's been just dreaming about...
Enter Wade.. he's been trying to break into the business for a while, willing to start at the bottom. He's got big dreams of finding big talent. He's got a ear for great music and loves the business. If he can just get a leg in. That chance comes when an opening for the new presidents assistant comes on the market.
Wade...
Now first, don't let "male assistant" turn you off.. sure, Sabrina is his boss, but these two connect immediately, the sparks are everywhere and when they are in the room together you never really feel any kind of bossiness from Sabrina. She and Wade just "click". He does anticipate her every need professionally and he's everything she needs right now. The two develop a fast friendship, with some flirting of course.. but they both try to keep it professional. For as long as they can... *wink*
Now in the back, we have Beau.. Beau has been Sabrina's agent since the beginning. He was older and wiser and really took advantage of Sabrina from an early age. He wasn't evil by any means.. just manipulating to get what he wanted out of her. He made her into "Sabra" and has really always seen her as Sabra. They've had a sexual relationship for years. Beau is incapable of any type of love and although Sabrina does not love Beau..he's always been a part of her life. A small part of her may have always possibly wanted more, but the smart part of her realized that Beau has always used her for more than her mind. He keeps her hanging on by a thread but that thread is strong.
But the more Wade and Sabrina are around each other.. the more she realizes she doesn't need and never needed Beau. She's strong, capable, smart.. time to kick Beau to the curb for good and break his emotional hold he's had on her...
And Wade is there every step of the way..he know's the hold Beau has had on Sabrina and he knows she deserves more. He wants to show her want she deserves and give it to her.. and he does..
I love that Wade was never jealous for Beau's hold over Sabrina.. it bothered the hell out of him because he knew how strong Sabrina was. Ok.. do not let the thought of anything "triangleish" throw you off. There is really no triangle here. Sure, Beau had an emotional hold on Sabrina but it was nothing like the chemistry between her and Wade. Beau was a familiar feeling..one she had just got used to over the years. But Wade.. Wade came in and rocked her world.
Now things aren't always easy but there was really very little angst at all. Sabrina was strong, she just needed someone to help show her how strong she was. Wade was simply delicious... he was so sweet and would do anything for Sabrina. He wasn't a push over by any means.. but he knew the one thing Sabrina had lacked her life was a feeling of control and he wanted to show her that she was truly capable of being in control of her life.
The majority of this story I had a big ole grin on my face. It was really one of those books that just make you feel good. I smiled so much. The connection between Wade and Sabrina just felt good. It was never "over the top" crazy lust. Sure, the were physically attracted to each other from the beginning.. but watching them truly fall for each other was just amazing.
Kate Roth has a real talent for spinning a tale that just draws you in.. Although this my first book by Kate, it certainly won't be the last.

4/4.5--Sweet and Sappy--Stars!!!!
Here's me.....after finishing this book.
Perma-smile!!
Sometimes you just need a good ole sweet and sappy love story. Full of hearts and rainbows and all of that other lovey-dovey shit.
Wade--seriously that dude was SWOON worthy! I need a hopeless romantic like Wade.
Natural Harmony is Wade and Sabrina's story. Sabrina was a one-hit wonder you could say. Famous at the age of 17 and infamous a few years later....eventually becoming an executive of her uncles record label. She's spent the last 10 years tied to her manager Beau.
Beau was a douche-nugget. Plain and simple.
He was 13 years older than Sabrina....took advantage of her naivety.....controlled her.....manipulated her....strung her along......and used her. They never really had a relationship but he was the only person she has ever been with. Wade was this annoying itch....ugh just
Sabrina's uncle gets sick and makes her acting President during his medical leave. Wade becomes her new assistant. From the moment he walks in the door she's attracted to him. But douche-nugget has this hold on her.
I wouldn't really classify this as a love triangle. Once Wade enters the picture and their friendship grows and the sexual tension mounts, Beau never stood a chance. I still wanted to tell him to
This wasn't an overly dramatic read. There wasn't a lot of angst. It was just a sweet love story.....about a girl who kind of lost her way and was saved by love. For my smut lovers the sexual tension was HOT and there was just the right amount of sexy times to not over power the story.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading the remaining books in the series. This was a standalone . -
4 stars
With her uncle being sick, Sabrina has been given the position of acting president of her uncle's record label. With a new position comes a new assistant, Wade.
I didnt like Sabrina's manager/guy-she's-sleeping-with, Beau, I thought he was very manipulative. Once Wade appeared, there was no doubt who the right guy for her was. There's a thousand words for you Sabrina. I'll say them all to you eventually.
I picked this up looking for low angst, sweet, sexy, cute romance and I got exactly that. For all my buddies who are hopeless romantics, this is a good one to pick up. -

~~4.75 MADE-ME-SMILE HEARTS~~

Sabrina is ready to move forward with her professional career and show her Uncle and her peers that she’s up for the challenge. Beau is her manager and she’s also his secret lover. She was swept off her feet when she first meets Beau. The dazzling smile, the nice tan, and the good looks made her turn to liquid and she did anything to please him. Beau becomes “familiar” to her and they form this limbo relationship. Beau tries to control her rather than try to be her manger. The relationship with Beau has made her insecure.
When Sabrina hires Wade Lawson to be her assistant, she can’t deny the attraction she feels for him. Wade awakens something in her that Beau took away, her confidence. They try to keep their distance but their desires overcome their rational thinking.
When Sabrina & Wade are together you can feel the firework. They fit perfectly together. They know exactly what the other needs without even having to voice it to each other. Sabrina is scared to let go of the "familiar" past which is Beau and try to build something solid with Wade. Wade lets Sabrina takes control of the relationship, which is something Sabrina isn't use to. Wade brings light back into Sabrina's life and sticks by her side through all the obstacles she had to go through professionally and emotionally.
Kate Roth, I am officially a fan. You are a very talented writer. Your writing style just flows naturally. You kept a smile on my face all throughout the last portion of the book. I loved it!!!! -
OMG, WADE WADE WADE!!! Oh wait, first.... Kate has done it again. made a truly engrossing novel that sucks you into the characters and there lives making you fall in love with each and every character to the ones you love to love to the ones you love to hate.
Now, back to where I was... OH,Wade, Wade Wade... you are such an amazing character... truly devoted in your job, your feelings and behind closed doors...How, could a woman not be jealous of what your willing to offer Sabrina!
Each and every character of this novel has there own little story and spot in this novel... and I am dying to learn more about each and every one of them in hopes *fingers crossed* that stories captivate my attention just as much as Sabrina and Wade did.
Beau, seems to be the bad guy in this novel but I have to admit *whispers* I even want to know more about him... YES I so said that!
Kate, you have captivated me by your writing once again and I stand by in waiting for what comes next in the Confessions Records Series! -
Kate Roth has done it again! Having read a pre release copy of this book I can say without doubt that it's one to add to your TBR list. I will not do spoilers but what I can say is that once again Kate has created interesting and believable characters and I was pulled in right from the start. I had my very own cast playing the movie of the book in my mind!
The story is exciting and emotional at the same time. I found myself in tears more than once. Two sexy men feature in the book - both quite different from each other and I loved the way Sabrina's character developed as things progressed.
Kate has such a natural style and I can't wait to read her next book! -
4.5 stars!
Thank you, Kate Roth for letting me read an ARC of Natural Harmony. I'm not a blogger, but I am a fan of Kate Roth and she was gracious enough to let me read this wonderful story before it went live.
Natural Harmony is about Sabrina Walker, former pop princess who finds herself in the position of President of Confession Records. When we meet Sabrina, she's a bit lost in her life. She's struggling to figure out who she is and what her decade long relationship with her manager, Beau, really means.
With her newfound promotion at Confession Records comes a new assistant named Wade Lawson. Let me tell you, I loved Wade. He was a breath of fresh air in a sea of book boyfriend cliches. Hot, swoon worthy, gentle, and supportive...who knew men like this existed in the book world! Be prepared for a new book boyfriend!
I found myself completely engrossed in the story. Kate Roth takes the reader on Sabrina's journey of self discovery and love as she finds out who she is, what she wants, and who to give her love to.
This book had some really great lines, but my favorite was: "His mother was like a damn fairy flitting around bringing goodness to the world in the form of wine and hot sons." -
SO much to love about this book!
From the fun setup of the Britney v. Christina past of our MC
to her *interesting* relationship with her manager...
And then there's WADE... omg. H-O-T!!!
This is a fantastic, fun, sexy, lovely book.
Highly recommend!!! -
" He smelled like sex and cologne and Sabrina hated how badly those two things made her want him."
So…I think it's safe to say I totally wasn't expecting that one. I went into this blind, yes when I signed up I read the synopsis and it was intriguing…however when going to read, I totally forgot what the synopsis was about and I didn't go back to read it again. Going in blind was a good idea on my part. Now don't read into that wrong please. I throughly enjoyed the story, there were some parts where I just had to stop and go "Really!?" I continued on and I'm happy with the outcome.
" He pulled each moan and sigh from her like a conductor giving her cues."
Sabrina Walker is a 28 year old woman who hasn't completely moved on from her past. Her past being her Manager Beau. For 10 years she's basically been there to satisfy his needs. This is where I had issues. If a man hasn't begun to give you any type of commitment or relationship after 10 years why are you still with him and then getting pissed when he's not giving you what you want? Even though it was hard to stomach this part, only because I was stupid enough to give 2 years of my life to a douche dumbass who was using me in the same manner. The only thing I got out of that relationship was my 6 year old son. Luckily though I woke up and saw that there are greater guys out there… one being my now husband.
" No wonder he was so sweet and accommodating. His mother was like a damn fairy flitting around bringing goodness to the world in the form of wine and hot sons."
Sabrina had just gotten a job offer from Beau when she was doing the walk of shame from his house and heading into work wearing the same thing she did the day before. She works at Confessions Records which her Uncle runs. However something unexpected happens and she ends up being President of the company while her Uncle is away for medical reasons. With a new position comes new duties and she can't handle it all herself so she needs to hire an assistant. Having over 60 applications to go over she finally decides 4 of them would be the best for the job and interviews. The first 3 were a waste and at this point she's pretty much giving up and doesn't even want to do the fourth and final interview. That is until Wade Lawson walks into her office. There is an instant connection.
" Walking into that interview, I didn't know you were gonna rock my world the way you have. And that first time we kissed, I didn't know that everything that would follow would change me forever. This has never been about just having fun for me. You're more than that and you always have been."
Wade gives Sabrina a boost of confidence and in the process puts a light back in her. She is completely taken aback, and is having a hard time putting her feelings aside. She's conflicted. On one hand there is Beau…on the other is Wade. So of course I'm sitting there screaming at my kindle, "WADE! HELLLOOOOO you know who to pick!!!" Lol. It's not my decision to make though sadly…it's hers. Sabrina is beyond frustrating at times. You want to smack some sense into her.
" Good men exist and if you're lucky enough to find one you have to put your preconceived notions out the window for it to work."
So does she wake up and pick the amazing man that even though he's 22 wakes her up like no other, or does she stick with the same man she has been hoping something would happen with?? That's something you'll have to find out when you #1click.
I enjoyed Wade tremendously. He's a new book boyfriend. I loved how the story was told in both Sabrina and Wade's POV. =)
I recommend you pick up Natural Harmony and enjoy a quick easy read.
I rate Natural Harmony 4 stars.
" I know I'm young. I know we haven't known each other that long. I know anything can happen and plenty can change. I'm not asking you to marry me but I'm telling you again that I'm yours. That means you have me. You own me. You rule me. You're the one. And if I keep my eyes on you and let everything else fade to black, that'll never change."
" It was the fucking sun and the moon and the stars and I knew I could never give you that and even if you let me try I wouldn't trust myself not to smother it again." -
*ARC received in exchange for an honest review*
Wade’s kiss had awakened her. He’d set fire to the girl of her past and from the ashes she’d become the woman she’d long denied herself to be.
Thank you Ms. Roth, you just summed up this book for me, right there in two simple sentences. Really, this book was beautifully written and it showcases all of the GOOD things that romance novels have to offer.
Sabrina is a young woman with a lot going for her. She is in her late 20s and is the head of A&R at her uncle’s record label. When a surprise announcement from her uncle has Sabrina stepping in as CEO, she finds her world quickly turned upside down. Ten years ago Sabrina was getting acquainted with the other end of the business as pop princess Sabra. It is then that she meets talent agent Beau, a player ten years her senior. Once she turns eighteen, they begin a decade-long affair that looks to be going absolutely nowhere.
Wade is in his early 20s and is quickly finding his place in the corporate world. He is hired, as Sabrina’s assistant, once she takes over for her uncle as the CEO of Confession Records. Wade has an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what Sabrina needs, exactly when she needs it. He also has an eye for talent and is ready to climb the corporate ladder. He quickly falls in love with Sabrina, but finds himself in a battle with Beau for her affections. Can the young, idealistic Wade win Sabrina’s heart? Or has her history with Beau destroyed any chance of her finding true love?
I know I’m young. I know we haven’t known each other that long. I know anything can happen and plenty can change. I’m not asking you to marry me but I’m telling you again that I’m yours. That means you have me. You own me. You rule me. You’re the one. And if I keep my eyes on you and let everything else fade to black, that’ll never change.
Perhaps the biggest reason why I love Natural Harmony is the complete lack of misogyny when it comes to what and whom Sabrina represents. She is a strong woman who is able to make it successfully in a man’s world on her own merits. I don’t want to channel my inner Dworkin or Paglia, however I will say that all too often once we see the Alpha Male come out to play, the heroine has a tendency to drop about 40 IQ points and make decisions that are often counterintuitive. We see her make sacrifices in the name of what she perceives as “love” instead of doing what is best for her. Ms. Roth has allowed Sabrina the ability to make her own tough choices, and hash out for herself the consequences of her choices. She gains so much power over the course of the book, it really truly is refreshing. It is also refreshing to see a character like Wade allow Sabrina to take the reigns of the relationship and do what is best for HER, unlike Beau, who was simply interested in what was best for HIM. The music industry has always been a popular plot setting in romance. However it is often the musicians we see, often times hard partying, drinking, plenty of sex…that’s not what you get here. You see professionals who very much take their roles responsibly yet the heat and passion between Sabrina and Wade is just as palpable as it is between the lead singer and his favorite groupie in any other rocker novel.
Natural Harmony is a five star read. It was a quick and easy read and once I picked it up, I didn’t want to put it down. I love what Ms. Roth did with the characters and am interested to see where the series is going to go next. -
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in exchange of my honest opinion and review.
Sabrina Walker is a former pop singer turned into musical executive. She works in the recording company of her uncle, but she never has felt confident about her capacity and value as employee or singer. She has a clandestine relationship with her former manager (Beau); he’s forty years old and the only man who she has intimated. When Beau asks her she works for him, she must to take his uncle’s job and be the president of the company.
Wade Lawson is a young man who is searching a great opportunity in the musical industry. He walks into Ms. Walker’s office as her assistant ignoring she’s his teenager idol. The attraction is immediate and in spite of Sabrina is with Beau between them start grow a deep relationship.
I really enjoyed read Natural Harmony and I must to say the author made a pretty good job with this book. She took a risk writing a female character involved with two guys but she didn’t write a whore. Sabrina feels comfortable in her relationship with Beau so is not easy for her break up with him. Throughout the story she’ll find her own voice and discover how a true relationship is.She knew that feeling. The moment all your dreams come true. Her breath caught in her chest for a second and a sharp pain hit her. She realized she’d had the feeling twice now. Once when she got her recording contract and once the first time she woke up next to Wade.
Wade is the guy every girl wants and deserves, he always support Sabrina, believe in her more herself. He’s a man who doesn’t feel uncomfortable with a strong woman in a better position than him. How sexy is that?!He was the one who had told her multiple times that she was in charge. She held the reins. And now that she seemed to have gripped them tight— he was nervous. A beautiful woman was one thing. But a strong, sexy, powerful, beautiful woman? That was a class he had never had the pleasure of taking. The corner of his mouth lifted. Now or never, he thought.
“There’s a thousand words for you, Sabrina. I’ll say them all to you eventually,” he said.

Natural Harmony by Kate Roth was the first book I read from this author. You want to know something? I absolutely adored it! It was the perfect weekend read. I happened to dive into it on Saturday and didn’t want to come up for air. It grabbed me from the very beginning. I happened to connect with the characters right away. It also had a different feel then other books in the genre. I would say it was a pretty genuine story from the very beginning. It had a little angst which could be classified as the good kind. I mean I didn’t want to pull out my hair or cry. I also wanted to see the characters happy and I think that’s what made me love this book so much. The characters were so likable, even the ones I didn’t want to like.
Sabrina has just been named acting President of her uncles music label. It’s a dream come true. It also complicates her relationship or lack there of with her manager Beau. She has been sleeping with him for ten years. He was her manager when she was Sabra the pop princess. Unfortunately she was a one hit wonder. She has been working in the A and R department up until now. Her uncle needs her to take over and Confession Records means the world to her. First thing she needs is the perfect assistant. She finds him in Wade. He has all the qualifications she is looking for. Did I mention she can’t take her eyes off him. He is gorgeous and very charismatic. She hires him on the spot. He proves himself to be exactly what she needs in and out of the office. The more and more time she gets to know Wade, the more and more she realizes that Beau will never give her what she deserves. Wade proves to Sabrina that he is what she deserves. She begins to imagine more with him. Sabrina must decide what she really wants the control that Wade is so willing to give her or the past that she is so familiar with?
From the very beginning I was hoping that Beau wasn’t the one for her. I knew it, she knew it deep down. pretty much everyone knew it. Honestly Wade even knew it. Now Wade was also so very mature for his age and he had a drive that was so attractive. There you go I am definitely team Wade. He was just so perfectly sweet. Sabrina and Wade seemed to share a rare and special connection. It was really beautiful to watch unfold. He was even there for her when she didn’t even realize she needed him. That is a pretty perfect romance in my book.
This book took me a little bit by surprise. I enjoyed the sweet and addictive read. I would recommend it whole heartedly. I look forward to reading more from Kate and can’t wait to see what she has for us next.

I have been a Kate Roth fan since I read her book The Low Notes last year. (Do yourselves a favor and read that one, too! it’s not to be missed!) Naturally, I was excited to check out Natural Harmony. This is her first self-published novel, and I was interested to see what kind of ride she was going to take us on. I loved the setting of this book, I don’t read a ton of office romances, so it was a nice change of pace.
We get to see our heroine, Sabrina, really blossom in this book, thrown into the fire as president of a major record label, struggling to be taken seriously by some who still see her as just a former pop star. She takes the job by storm, showing people that she’s more than just a one-hit wonder, and can be successful, even at a young age.
It’s possible she wouldn’t have been such a success without her newly hired assistant, Wade. They have an immediate connection, him sensing what she needs almost before she realizes she needs it. They make a great pair, both in and out of the office. Wade really helps her come into her own, and Sabrina realizes that not only does she WANT more out of her love life, she DESERVES more.
I really enjoyed how Kate Roth gave us a strong heroine who was comfortable in her own skin, willing to do what it takes to get what she wants out of life. I also really liked seeing a female boss with the male employee, we don’t see that in typical office romances.
Although moving on from her previous (dysfunctional) relationship isn’t easy for Sabrina, one thing that I LOVE that Kate Roth did with this book was that she didn’t create drama for the sake of drama. Sabrina works things out in an adult manner, and nothing felt forced or artificial.
One issue I did have was that I didn’t quite feel that I really “knew” Wade. There isn’t a ton of backstory on him, and while I liked his character, I almost felt that he could have just been anybody. However, that didn’t take away from this story, I would have just liked to be in his head a little more.
All in all, I think Kate Roth did a great job bringing us a sweet and fun read, and I’ll be interested to see what comes next in the Confessions Records series. -
Oh where can I find my very own Wade? I mean men like him must exist in real life, right? I mean they must if we are finding them in books...
Sabrina is a former pop princess who has had to work pretty hard to get where she is. She is having "relations" with her manager, and has for sometime, but there really is no future there. Sabrina finds out that her uncle is sick and she is taking over Confession Records as the new President. She is pretty overwhelmed and needs to prove that she deserves this job, and that she is not just being given it because of who her uncle is. She needs an assistant-ASAP- and puts out an ad to find the perfect candidate. How would she know that the perfect person would be Wade Lawson. Wade ends up more then assistant along the way, but at the same time, he shows her who she has become and how great and talented she really is. Problem is, Beau her manager is right there seeing the same thing.
I loved the connection that Sabrina and Wade have. You can see the relationship build from friendship to lovers as the books goes on.
Tonight, I do not have to be your boss~Sabrina
That one line there pretty much sums up the book. You can see how Sabrina is trying to make a separation between boss and employee, but in the end she decides to go with her heart and pretty much say "Screw it" and go with her heart.
This is my first Kate Roth book and I was not disappointed. Loved, Loved, Loved it! Natural Harmony is one of those books that I think I will want to read over and over again. It is not angsty, it is definitely HOT, and at the end I just did a huge sigh because it ended the way that I would have wanted it to end. I am very excited for the other books in the series and to see how this is going to work out. -
Enjoyable contemporary romance about the music industry, featuring, Sabrina, a former pop star at age 18 who after a big hit record loses her fame. She ends up working for her uncle who owns the record label that she was with. Ten years later, Sabrina has made a name for herself signing acts. She's having a long term love affair with her manager Beau, who was her first lover when she turned 18. He's older than her and treats her only as a friends with benefits. Sabrina wants more, other than great sex.
Sabrina's uncle has cancer and he is going to take time off and make Sabrina the new president of the record label. She hired a 21 year old as her assistant. Wade, who used to have a big crush when Sabrina was Sabra, the big pop star scarlet. These two become great co-workers who then become lovers. Wade and Sabrina are falling for one another, but there's Beau who sees he's loving Sabrina and may finally give Sabrina want she has wanted from him after ten years. Can Wade can complete for Sabrina's heart?
Natural Harmony was a great romance, especially the spin with a heroine in power who is involved with a younger man who helps her build up her confidence and proves that true love is possible and full of respect and kindness. The slight love triangle angle is enjoyable, as well as the insight into the music industry.
I really enjoyed this one, including the Sabrina and her hot and sexy relationship with Wade, who is a great love interest.
I'll keep my eye on more from this author.

I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review by the author.
I loved this story. It didn't need filled to the brink with drama to keep my attention. It was refreshing to see a woman in power, especially where she was believable enough not to have everything together or fall into her lap magically. She had things holding her back from achieving her potential and it helped to really connect with her.
At the beginning of the story, Sabrina frustrated me. She seemed like a smart woman who was being held back and too caught up in a relationship with a man that didn't deserve her. I have read too many books where the women needed a man to be in control of her so she could function. I was pleased to see how things changed for her.
Things didn't always go the way she wanted them too, but she was able to handle the situations as they came without falling into a pit of despair. It was motivational and this book was a breath of fresh air.
Lastly, Wade. He is awesome. Too many times I see books portray a man as having to be in control and ... well ... an ass. He was confident with himself in which he knew what he wanted, and went for it. He was the type of guy that I wouldn't mind dating one of my sisters and something I would love to see in books more often.
All and all, this was another great book by Kate Roth. 4/5 platypires!

Let me start off by saying this is the first book I have read by Kate Roth, and it won’t be my last. The writing style she has is amazing, and I absolutely love it! After saying that I am going to say I commend her for her heroine! Sabrina is an amazing woman, yes she has had a few bumps along the way, and now she is being put on the spot when her uncle asks her to become president of the record company he’s built from the ground up.
Sabrina doesn’t know what she is going to do, but when she finds out why she is being pushed into this position she realizes that she has to. She puts on her big girl panties and hires an assistant, but what she gets is way more than she ever thought possible. Wade Lawson walks into Sabrina’s life and turns it upside down. He’s nothing like the man she’s been involved with for over 10 years, nothing like Beau Harris.
Sabrina is also a teen pop star known as Sabra, which her manager Beau Harris named her. She wants to forget about that, but what happens when she finds out Wade had a thing for Sabra? Will it affect their work relationship? Also will Sabrina realize her worth? Will she and Wade become an item or will Beau be the one she ends up with, always controlling and bringing her down?
This story has tons of steamy parts in it and it keeps you entertained, wanting to not stop and check on your baby or fold the clothes, or cook for the hubby. This book had me up all night and I highly recommend it to anyone. -

After being promoted to President of her uncle's record label, Sabrina needs an assistant ASAP. In comes Wade. A resourceful, smart and handsome man, Wade ignites in Sabrina feelings she never experienced before. Although she has been in a 'relationship' with Beau, she knows that nothing is going to come from it other than to keep living on past expectations and desires.
Neither of them pursue each other straight out, but Wade and Sabrina's attraction to each other gets the best of them. Wade gets Sabrina in every way - emotionally and physically. Something no one has ever done for Sabrina before.
Although Beau is in the background actively reaching for Sabrina for one more hook-up and Sabrina is torn between what she's used to and starting something new with Wade, I wouldn't say this was a love triangle type of situation. I didn't believe Sabrina had any deep feelings for Beau, I think she was just used to the familiarity of what they shared. Her conflicted feelings stemmed mainly from her insecurities and her fear of giving of herself to Wade.
This was a fun story to read. Although it would involve more of a music scene, I was pleasantly surprised by the content of the story regardless. It was cute and cheesy and everything in between with interesting characters (including Beau which I'm still intrigued by!), little angst and great chemistry. -

Sabrina just wanted to be respected. She wanted people to know that she did earn her way to the top of her Uncle’s Record label, not just because she was family. She wanted them to know, that she is the best in the business at what she does, and that she deserves the title of Acting President that her Uncle has now bestowed upon her.
Sabrina never saw Wade coming, or well she did, when he came in to interview for a job as her assistant. Wade shows Sabrina what it is like to have someone show you that they genuinely care for you and that they will do anything to see you smile. He is vastly becoming the center of her world and showing her what it is like to have someone on your side and give you the confidence you have always needed to know that you are doing things right, and that you are strong enough to survive whatever life throws at you.
Sabrina and Wade fall into this crazy relationship and just as her career as acting president takes off, Wade tells her how he really feels about her. Sabrina is not sure if she can give in to this though. In the back of her mind is her past relationship. She is not sure if she can handle something that is out in the open and not hidden from the World, because that is all she has ever known. -
This was an interesting book, after ten years of being controlled by others Sabrina finally gets to take control of her life, only now realising what she's missed. As usual she's given no choice in the decision that triggers all this, but, over the next few months you see her start to come out of her shell and blossom.
A lot of her strength comes from her new assistant Wade, for whom she feels an instant attraction, but won't act on it because she's scared of what people will think of her.
Her manager/lover is Beau, I'm not sure whether I loathe him or hate him. He's moulded Sabrina into his hidden secret, I'd call her his fuck buddy but he's not much of a buddy at all, and seems only interested in his own wants and needs.
Just as you think Sabrina is breaking free Beau seems to always pop up, and then she gets a bolt from the blue that looks like it will destroy everything she's achieved.
This is a bit of a coming of age book, albeit Sabrina's experiencing it about ten years too late! It's about finding a soulmate and thinking you can just be friends, and it's about finding someone who is the one.
Beautifully written, great characters and an interesting and engaging story line that I did find myself shouting at on occasion. -
Natural Harmony by Kate Roth is the type of book that had me hooked from the very beginning, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In my mind, one of the strongest points of the book is how well-developed the two romantic leads – Sabrina and Wade – were. They both had their own personalities, but they complimented each other. What really stood out as I read the book is the chemistry they had as well. As far as character traits, the thing I liked the most was what a strong character Sabrina was. She might have had her doubts, but I loved the way Wade was there to give her encouragement when she needed it. Something else I loved about Wad was his sense of humor. I also loved the fact Wade was from Indiana. As far as their relationship, I didn't feel like it was rushed or forced at all. It evolved over time and because of that, as a reader, I thought it felt real.
I definitely enjoyed this book, and I'm interested in reading the next book in this collection. I read this book in 2013, and it was in my top 15 favorites. -
5 Totally Awesome Stars
This is definitely one of those books that I want to read again :) Team Wade all the way! I think I have found myself a new book boyfriend! This book was a fun read that I enjoyed throughout the whole story. It's not one of the stories that has to be filled with drama to keep you entranced, you just genuinely want to keep reading. The main character Sabrina is a breath of fresh air in a book world filled with whiny, male dependent heroines. She is a strong independent woman who is able to stand on her own two feet and deal with her own problems herself. But it definitely doesn't hurt that she has the hot sexy Wade there to cheer and support her along the way. I love getting to watch their relationship progress, because they kind of fought the feelings to start with. They knew as employer and employee, the relationship probably shouldn't happen. But when they finally threw caution to the wind and followed their hearts, it was SO much better. Can not wait to see what else this wonderful author has in store for us in the future.

I like Kate Roth's natural way of writing a story that many people can relate to. This one asks the question of should you stay in a semi-comfortable relationship that is private and where the man has to be in total control over you (Beau)...or do you get brave and venture out with someone who really knows what love is and helps you become a confident and secure woman (Wade).
Beau is the older man who has known Sabrina since she was younger and Wade is her younger assistant who has worshipped her since he was a pre-teen.
This was a sweet love story of a woman's struggle to figure out what she really wants, a sexual tension and chemistry that is off the charts with her new assistant, learning to fight for what she really wants and believing that she deserves it above all else.
Favorite scene in the book...two words...phone sex...oh yeah =)
Another engaging treat from Kate Roth!

Ms. Roth never fails to satisfy. Her character development is always so natural that I struggle to define when I have fallen for them, despite how invested I feel in knowing their stories. While "The Low Notes" and "Reckless Radiance" were both enjoyable and well-written, something about "Natural Harmony" was decidedly different, and in a pleasant way. I look forward to following Roth's writing--she is a truly talented storyteller.

This is the first book I have read by Kate Roth but it will not be the last! LOVED Natural Harmony! The characters were developed and the reactions to things were spot on. So many books have crazy reactions to the most basic elements, but not this one. This one felt real. The emotions felt real. And best of all I felt myself rooting for the couple. Perfect stand alone with a HEA.
