This book could be used with grades 2 and up. It teaches an very important lesson. It teaches that we can't judge people on how they look. This happens so much in school and several places. This book is about a girl who was very beautiful, so they called her beauty. She went to stay with a ugly beast because if she didn't, her father would have to stay there for three months. He asked her to marry him and she always said no. But he grew sick and was about to die so she told him that she would marry him and he grew well and turned into a handsome prince. They lived happily ever after.
