The Child Abuse Industry: Outrageous Facts About Child Abuse \u0026 Everyday Rebellions Against a System that Threatens Every North American Family Reviews

I Just read R.L. Stollar's review of this book on Twitter, and am saddened and disgusted that author Mary Pride dares to call herself a Christian. Stollar included several sections from the book and commented on each one. His opinions were spot on. She does have "Christian Alt Facts" that seem to demonize a worthy and valuable system – a cult of abuse, in her words – that strives for optimum child welfare, and pulls unmeasurable negative statistics out of a hat. Also, she believes that church ministers and members of law enforcement are more qualified to deal with claims of child abuse than trained professionals, and calls for an end to mandatory reporting. The subtitle of the book is “Outrageous Facts about Child Abuse” and Mary Pride's “facts” certainly are outrageous. Read Stollar's review for yourself.

pride makes a good argument about the abuse of a huge child abuse system, but errs on the side of the falsely accused at the expense of battered and assaulted children
