    This book was written a long time ago,In a different time period, so I encountered some unfamiliar words and phrases. After a couple of chapters, I got used to the fact that the setting was based during World War 2. Patty is the protaganist, a twelve year old Jewish girl that is willing to risk her life for love, and adventure! When german prisoners of war settle near her house, she is faced with a decison that can change her life forever. I would reccomend this book to anyone who is ready to dive into the past and swim through time to find a romantic and cute story of the past. Honestly this is not my first choice book, but I have explored a new genre. Great book to expand your reading knowledge!
