The emotions I’m experiencing now…wow, I absolutely loved this book yet I’m so sad that the series has come to an end.
Elodie has so beautifully delivered Always Alchemy, an epilogue to 6 amazing books and couples. I can’t honestly put into words just how amazing this series has been and I know the Seraph series will be the start of something special too.
Maddy opens the book in the best way possible, giving birth and I honestly almost wet myself laughing, so true and so well written 👏.
The epilogue’s were a true celebration of love, family, babies and of course lots of sex! Daddy Adam stole the show for me but Max and Dex came close.
My heart honestly broke for Belle’s decision, I wholeheartedly agreed with it but at the same time one I wished she would never have had to make.
Cal-endar……now where could we sign up for pre-orders of that PHEW
I’m hoping and praying for a Pip and Stella novella 🙏🙏 her birthday party pool time just wasn’t enough.
Thank you Elodie Hart for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

This was such a fun read.

I certainly had several aw moments because it's just so adorable and some laugh-out-loud moments. There's also some great spice happening along the way! The author has the ability to write characters that are relatable and loveable.

You'll definitely want to read the other books in the series before jumping into this one as this book wraps everything up from the others. That said, if you've read the others and loved the characters, you won't want to miss this one!

  • ALittleBrittofFun

I feel like the epilogues at the end of the book were honestly enough to wrap these stories up. I’m not sure we needed this and some of the writing felt so weak to me.

  • Torey

What a great way to wrap up the series. We got to see the sweet tender moments, some hot steamy moments, and some hilarious moments. I loved hearing from some new side characters as well. I will miss this group of people.

  • Cokiereads

    I can't believe it's over!

I do think it would be best to

If you read the whole series the alchemy series this is like all epilogue with all the characters the huge group of best friends and you get to see how everyone is in their happily ever after there is marriage babies and a lot of love this book got me giggle and kicking my feet i loved it. this is was art.

  • beck

that’s my crazy kooky sexually liberated family. and yeah… imma need stella and pip’s story! gimme the next generation! i don’t care! i need it!

I was graciously given an ARC for my honest reivew.

I am so sad to see the end of Alchemy!! These books have been absolutely amazing and I have reread quite a few times as well as getting the special editions. I am so happy that she put this together so we got to see the wonderful happy endings. All the Alchemy crew were quite prolific with the kids, at one point I had to stop and recount because damn!! They were having all the babies 😂 But I loved seeing them all grow up through the chapters. Stella! I see you girl! And those eyes for Pip??? I loved that scene so much!
Dex, Max, and Darcy's wedding made me tear up. Actually most of their stuff did. I loved to see the three of them just doing it and making their life their own and overcoming everything together. And Dex and Belle's mom?!? I am so happy for her!!! I could have used a few chapters of her and Charles together, but I'm so glad things worked out better for her.
HEY SARA. WHEN ARE WE GETTING THE ALCHEMY CALENDAR BECAUSE OH MY GOODNESS, I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the vellum overlays, but that calendar?!?!?! 🥵🥵🥵 Yes please!!!!!
I can't wait to see what else she's got for us in Audacity and to see how these characters in this world are weaved into the new stories. I am so glad I have this series to cherish and obsess over.

The Alchemy Series has secured a special place in my heart, from the moment I started reading Unfurl in the beginning of this year. Just when I thought the next book couldn’t top the previous, or get even hotter, I was always proven wrong! I absolutely loved each and every book I’ve read in the Alchemy series. I connected to the characters in each book in a special and unique way and I always craved more of their stories. Always Alchemy is an absolute gift from Elodie Hart that gives me exactly what I want- more of these characters and their stories, after they fell in love and established their relationships!
Always Alchemy is told through the perspective of all of the romance characters- and there are even a few chapters told from the POV of other characters, which is a delightful surprise! Elodie does a beautiful job weaving so many POVs together in a way that feels seamless. This story spans across many years, showing pivotal moments’ of our beloved characters’ journeys after they have found happily ever after. Always Alchemy is more than just a happily-ever-after epilogue, though. We still follow heart-wrenching struggles, emotional moments, and even witness new love blossom. There is an immense amount of growth taking place for many of the characters in Always Alchemy. A touch of humor here and there is a hallmark of the Alchemy series for me, and Always Alchemy has some scenes that really had me laughing.
This book fulfills my strong desire for more Alchemy. It also illustrates the ups and downs of life after finding a happily ever after, while highlighting the most beautiful and poignant moments that humans can experience. It’s also important to mention that Elodie Hart includes incredibly well-written and scorching spicy scenes, as usual. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to read Always Alchemy early, in exchange for honest feedback. I highly recommend reading all of the books in the Alchemy series first, and you will be so grateful for the treat that is Always Alchemy. I’m so excited for Audacity! <3

    ARC Review

    Title: Always Alchemy
    Author: Elodie Hart
    Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
    Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

As always, Elodie’s writing never fails to amaze me. Considering she wrote more than 10 POVs in this book I’m amazed at how it all flowed through so nicely.

This was a beautiful goodbye to an amazing series that I’ve had the joy in ARC reviewing the last 3 of them. I’ve absolutely loved seeing the characters developments and through this book you get closure on things you didn’t even think you needed!

My favourite parts were Cal’s fundraising calendar photos, and Anton’s girls asking Gen to a secret lunch to ask for an Alchemy membership 😂😭

I have to say Zach + Maddy are still my all time favourites, I just love their banter and their chemistry. But I will say, Dex, Max and Darcy are ✨goals✨ I mean who WOULDN’T love having two men around all the time? 😏

Overall. A beautiful ending to a wonderful series and I am so excited for Elodie’s next series ‘Audacity’ with Athena and Gabe!

    👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The end with so many possibilities!

I feel like that sad little cartoon guy who cries plaintively, “It’s over!” at the end of the show…

But what a way for Elodie Hart (aka Sara Madderson) to end the Alchemy series! I remember feeling transformed and vindicated when Belle broke free from her chains under Fr. Rafe’s tutelage and all the way through to the sheer romance of Adam’s redemption story with Nat. It’s been a joy and a brilliant education through six amazing books.

Always Alchemy has absolutely everything you could hope for in a series wrap-up, replete with a tidy red bow. I loved that there was so much friendship, love, growth, sexy times… and sooooo many babies! Plus a bonus next-gen story that I hope gets written one day.

What a wonderful, full length dive into the future of alchemy spin-offs, plus the introduction of the next Elodie Hart Series, Seraph. Bring it!

Thank you Sara for your brilliant, intuitive writing perfection. You put everything into all your books and we love you for it.

  • Aimee

I'm a sucker for a bonus epilogue so to have a full length book is the dream.

Not only did the OG Alchemy gang have chapters but we had guest appearances from the POV of Lauren (Belle & Dex's Mum) and Stella (Zach's Daughter).

Again the book is so well written and uses London and the surrounding areas as a perfect backdrop.

To see how the characters have moved forward many years in the future is great for an epilogue girly like me!

If you loved the series, do yourself a favour and make sure you read this!

My only con from this book is that it's not as spicy as the previous in the series but that's a personal preference and could be because some of the spicy scenes are from the original bonus epilogues of each book which has been tweaked slightly which is referenced in the foreword!

  • Jen Smith

This finale to the Alchemy series was absolute perfection. We get to see Rafe and Belle, Zach and Maddy, Anton and Gen, Cal and Aida, Dex, Max, and Darcy, and Adam and Nat all get their true HEA and fast forward through different glimpses in time. We get to see proposals, weddings, birthdays, births, and it all comes together flawlessly. We get to see their kids grow up and even celebrate in some of their successes. Truly, this book is a perfect wrap up to the series and left my heart feeling all the feels. The spice was still spicy and the love was still super intense. The plot lines were great. The friendships were still amazing. And above all, the bonds between them were still so incredible and fun to read about. There were laughs and tears and all the feelings in between. Truly a special world that Elodie built for us and I cannot wait to see what she creates in the spin off series with Seraph!

  • Jen Carambula

The happiness this book brought to my life is indescribable.
I’ve found myself giggling, kicking my feet in the air and literally crying while reading it and I’m actually so sad that this series is over but at the same time, so happy that we have this ending with all the extra stories of this incredible Alchemy family.
I seriously love this characters with my whole heart and it makes me emotional to see the journey they went through and how happy they all are. This was simply amazing and full of happiness. Even the stories I didn’t know I needed (and the ones I was hoping for, go Lauren!) filled my heart with joy. This is so well written and so sweet. And I’m so thankful to have been part of this amazing series as a reader. I’m gonna miss the all so much.
P.s I’m seriously gonna need at least a novella of the couple in the last chapter.

  • Talisa Bruce

Ever finish a book or series and thought “ok that was perfect but my heart needs a bit more”? Elodie read all of our minds and delivered spectacularly.
Always Alchemy gives us a look into the lives of our favourite Alchemy members as they settle in with their loved ones. We get the opportunity to watch them continue to grow. We get to see them through beautiful, peaceful moments, funny moments, very sexy moments, and some truly difficult, heart-wrenching ones as well.
I absolutely loved the inclusion of some important secondary characters. Seeing their stories develop was such a joy.
Elodie has gifted us the perfect amount of “closure-dopamine” and I loved every bit of it.
My only request is please, for the love of Alchemy, give us that Max/Dex scene. I beg you!
Thanks so much to Elodie and her team for the opportunity to read and review.

  • Jamie Fenstermaker

Once again, Elodie has absolutely blown my expectations away, as she has done with every single Alchemy book thus far. She always spoiled us with the extra extended epilogues and while I’m so so sad to say goodbye to this series and cast of characters, I’m just beyond thrilled she gave us this one last book, where the couples could all be found in one space, for the finale, along with the next generation of Alchemy CEOs. And….as per usual….the SPICE is SPICIN’🫣💥🔥

I cannot WAIT for the new series to begin!! In the meantime, time to go read some of Sara’s backlist!

*Extra special thanks to Elodie and her team for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review*

  • Catarina Domingos

This book is for the lovers of happy endings and for those readers who loved the alchemy series and their characters.
This has no drama, just closure and happiness.
It’sa huge happy epilogue where we see all of them again and their lives years from the events of the books.
I need one of these books after every series that I adore, because we already lived with the characters all the drama and hardship on their books and now weget to see the good and accomplishments after that.
    Andof course it’s ultra spicy.
And (without spoilers) I was very surprised because we got some unexpected POV’sthat were so sweet and endearing - I really want a book just for all the storyof that last chapter, and yes, I cried!!
P.S.– Zac and Madi are still my absolute favorites.

  • Holli Ertel

Just when you think it doesn’t get any better…we get a glimpse of their lives now and the future! Ahh!

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened,"

There are so many wonderful things we’ve shared throughout this series and my heart is bursting! I have laughed, cried, felt their pain, joy, sorrows, burdens and yet somehow it all brings us back to love! These people and their stories will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever talk about them.

As Rafe said, Love and gratitude is the perfect attitude. ♥️

  • Erin Rougeau

    Such a fabulous ending!

Yallll!!!! I can’t believe this is the end of this Alchemy series!!! I love this series so much and I have enjoyed every single book! This is a series I will recommend to everyone. Elodie really did a great job wrapping up this series with this book. I love how each character/couple got their own little moment to show how far they have come and where they are going. From marriage to babies to mended relationships, it was such an all around great way to bring it all together beautifully. Thank you Elodie for giving us this masterpiece! 🤍

  • Haley Bedillion

What a great way to wrap up an incredible series! I can’t believe it’s over!

Watching all the characters grow into spouses and parents, and building on their friendships with each other was so fun and unique to witness.

The last chapter in particular was spectacular. I laughed and SOBBED, and wanted so much more from those two 👀 Hoping we get to see that journey unfold!

I’ll be counting down the days until Audacity makes its debut, but I won’t ever stop thinking about how much I adore this series. I seriously need to plan a trip to London.

  • Danny Kearl

    This was pure perfection.

I love an wrap-up book after you get so invested in a series like Alchemy. This took us through all the couples and showed the highs and lows of their futures together. It made me so happy that the gang is all together still and their Alchemy family just kept growing and thriving.

My favourite chapters were the bonus views from Lauren and Stella.

And I loved all the easter eggs crumbs for the Seraph series - I saw what you were doing Elodie. I can't wait to go back to this world of love and spice and sexual freedom.

  • Yolanda

Always Alchemy was the perfect ending to Elodie's Hart Alchemy series. If you are the type of person who loves an epilogue or bonus chapter this is the book for you. It was so nice to see future moments in time with characters that you have fallen in love with. It was like coming home and catching up with friends. The books had me running the gamut of emotions. I laughed, I cried, it was sexy and sweet in parts. It was perfection. If you love this series this is a must read.

  • Jaime

I absolutely loved (will be rereading it for sure) the entire series but I had a hard time with the last book keeping my attention for what I love to typically read. Definitely not the same spice level as the series. This book was like an extended series of epilogues. The one thing I love most about reading is the character build up. This book didn’t have it because they were all established characters. I will say, I do love how you could feel the love the character (specifically the couples) had for each other, especially Max, Dex, and Darcy. I did love reading their happy ever after.

  • Chelsea K.

I absolutely LOVED this. Epilogues are like crack to me and this is literally multiple beautiful epilogues from all of the characters in the series in a full length novel? What’s not to love? You get some really lovely scenes. There’s spice, there’s heartfelt scenes, there’s heartbreaking scenes. There was also some surprising chapters from characters we haven’t heard from before that I didn’t know I needed but I can’t imagine not having it now. It’s got it all but really it’s just a bunch of goodness and don’t we all need that sometimes?

  • turn_the_page_lady. (sue mc)

Huge fan of the Alchemy series and was looking forward to the last book in the series.
Oh this does not disappoint - this is funny, heartwarming, emotional and spicy and does an amazing job of catching up with our favourite couples. No spoilers but Lauren’s chapters blew me away and Stella had me I. Tears and then grinning.
This was a gorgeous read and another one to be bought when it’s released.
Bittersweet to see a beloved series end but the tempting teaser for the Seraph series is great and looking forward to this.
