This issue of Cosmic Horror Monthly starts with a pure cosmic horror story when a man wakes up disoriented in a strange land in “Black Holed.” Then the relationship between siblings becomes weird in “My Sister’s Nest” by three-time Bram Stoker award winner Tim Waggoner. Take a tour through a museum of history and horror in “Memorabilia,” followed by a weird and cosmic answer to that query every writer hates in a story aptly “The Question.”
After a brief intermission via terrifying flash fiction piece “Swallow,” a noir private eye discovers a strange radio program late at night in “The Dearly Departing Radio Broadcast.” Then, an escape into virtual reality goes terribly wrong in “Room One” before we travel deep into the crypt for a story by one of my favorite writers, “Demons of the Sea” by William Hope Hodgson originally published in 1923.

Room One was my favourite of this edition. Always great to read an old William Hope Hodgeson story too.
