Bella and the Beast
I know when I pick up a book by J. Dominique that I am going to enjoy every minute it takes me to read it. After losing his wife and daughter Beast was pretty much done with the world but not before getting his revenge. Bella literally dropped into his life trying to run from her abusive fiance. Ryan was a real sicko and he got it from his pappy. Demetri didn't want anything to do with Bella but fate had already spoken no matter how hard he denied or tried to fight how he really felt about Bella. I was glad when he was ready to stop fighting and give love a try again. 💜💜 -
Beautiful 💐 💕
Omg Beast had me wanted to punch him sometimes 🤣🤣..I loved that Arabella didn't let her trials and tribulations get on the way of what true love is/was...They really were meant for each other they balance in ways they didn't know!! Amazing read as always!!! -
Grumpy vs. Sunshine
We have Demitri who is in a dark place finding comfort in the bottle. He's a recluse, so finding Arabella beating & unconscious was the last thing wanted. Arabella is on the run from her abusive husband. Neither are looking for love, yet it comes for them anyway. They think it's just backbreaking, but it's just the gateway to love. I enjoyed the plot & character arc for both characters. Warning it will have in ya feelings for a bit. I really enjoyed this book! Highly recommend ✌🏾🧡 -
Great Standalone
This well written book is a great standalone. From the very beginning I loved the main characters and the storyline. The backstory gave insight into how the main male character acted as he did. The drama, trauma, and dysfunction made the storyline so much better. With the abuse that the female character had endured was handled with grace and raw emotions. I enjoyed reading this book and the authors writing style. -
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for giving us another banger I love how you take the hardest men and put a good woman in their lives and show them it’s ok to show a softer side beauty and the beast it’s also sad that some men grow up and watch their mother be in abused and instead of them trying to be different from what they grew up seeing it’s up to you to want to change thanks again -
GREAT STANDALONE!!!!
This was my first read by this author but it definitely won't be my last. J. Dominique you did the darn thing with this book. It was great from the beginning. I love me some Demitri and Bella. I hated to see it end. This is most definitely a must read. I look forward to reading all your books. -
Good read for sure
I so enjoyed this book but for a different reason... the author took on grief, and in a way that most of us going through it can relate to... the story touches on grief, abuse, and independence in a way that flowed well and how having someone can truly make a difference in your life. I love it was a complete book and the pace kept. -
This is a NTMA and she delivered this story perfectly. It had a nice amount of drama, spice and BDE. Bella poor thang I am glad that I was able to see her in a happier light because she really needed it. Demitri my heart was breaking because of what he was working through..my heart went out to him because grief is real.

good read!
I loved this book! It kept you hooked. The things that people go through to not let go of other people. We be our on downfall sometimes. I’m glad Bella got the strength to leave. -
Taken
This was a good read. Dimitri was really mean for good reason and it was funny to see the ice melt once he got close with Bella. At the end of the day Bella and DJ are competing with ghosts which is an impossible feat so I understand why she ran. -
Bella and her handsome Beast
Ryan and his father got on my nerves. Putting hands someone their supposed to love then hiding behind the badge. I'm wondering if his brother's are estranged from the parents? Bella tamed the Beast. -
Tears
This one right here...it pulled in my heart strings. This was a beautiful story of loss, pain, abuse and, learning to love again. To stop holding on to grief. As hard as if maybe letting go of survivors guilt -
Loved it
Beautiful story. I am so happy that Bella and Dimitri helped each other heal. They both have been through a lot, especially Bella. Her ex-fiance was evil as hell and a crooked cop. He definitely got what he deserved. Great Read! -
Very good
I love urban romance. This book has some of everything you need. It has action, drama, suspense and passion. I enjoyed the characters and the way the author described them and the connection between them. -
Hard headed MMC and FMC
I enjoyed the intensity of the book. I haven't read a book like this yet so I enjoyed the unique plot. The spice was plenty and good and the action had me reading non stop. -
I wanted more I totally understood Demitri’s hurt but why bother that woman if you don’t want her. The emotional back and forth made it difficult to continue reading.
Ambralla was so weak for Demitri she didn’t make him work hard for her love. (To Me) I wanted her to love on herself more.
