A Memory of Dragons Reviews
-
Intriguing and interesting romp of industrial spy drama teetering on the edge of another civil war. The book kept moving and held my interest. I just wanted more dragons... LOL
Most of Annabell & Edgar books I have on tape, converted to CD's, most are read by Annabell and recorded on old cassette tape. So I really LISTENED to it, lucky for me. Seaming never to have a chance to sit down and read it, I put the CD in the player in my car and enjoyed the story to and from work.
This book's cover as most of her book's covers as well as the titles doesn't tell you much about what treasures that lie with in. Jump in and enjoy this spy drama set in Denver Colorado about the possibility of another American civil war, but this time East verses West.
Setting might be dated as it refers in the future of 1990's when all this was to happen. But as our reluctant hero,Paul Killian with some early amnesia problems points out: It is all recorded on disks the strait story of what happened that year.
Another civil war would have been quite a Dragon indeed... -
This intriguing story about memory loss and trying to regain it is an interesting exploration of the human mind. It is also a mystery of the complications of politics and science with an almost Sci-fi twist. Throw in a slight romance that fits real life type romances for young people. This is an enjoyable as well as thought provoking book.
I bought this book in 1991 and it has been sitting on my book shelf for 33 years and I finally got it read. It has stood in the to-read stack for too long! Glad I read it. Some of the political comments seem to fit right into the politics of 2024. -
I'm pretty sure this is the book I read for school last year, its hard to tell without a cover image. It was a pretty good book but I think a lot of people might not understand it. It has a good plot set in the near future with the U.S. poised to split in too, very suspenseful.
