Pardon Me, Sir... There's a Moose in Your Tent Reviews

"More stories from the life and times of a Wilderness park ranger in the Adirondack Mountains" . The stories are good and well written...good read if you're interested in the Adirondacks, especially the West Canada Lakes area, a section that seems to see few hikers...which may be part of its charm. Anyway, it was a fun read. Not likely to hit my classics list, or my To Be Kept Forever No Matter How Many Times I Move list - but it was good. Weill's love of the area and the wilderness in general comes through.

Like Larry Weil's first book "Excuse Me, Sir...Your Socks are on Fire", this book is a group of short stories about the three seasons he spent as a Park Ranger in the Adirondack Mountains. In the stories, he does an excellent job describing his life and the characters and circumstances he faced with humor. While not in exact chronological order, they are delighful and fun reading. I highly recommend his books for any one who is interested in the North Woods and is looking for light fun reading!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! While not quite as good as his first, "Excuse me Sir,Your Socks are on Fire", it was still a lot of fun. The author is a great storyteller! I can imagine him telling these stories around a campfire in the Adirondacks!

I really enjoyed this book and the previous book in the series. They are light reading, but entertaining.
