One of James Egan better trivia type books. This one seemed to be better organized and more accurate. Actually, learned a few things I hadn't known. However, it is obvious he has little understanding of Thomas Edison's genius. He seems to belittle the guy. Sure, Edison was known to improve the inventions of others-- this he claimed. Edison also gave much credit to the originators of many inventions he improved upon which many interpret as stealing an idea from others. The genus of Edison was the he took the effort to patent and make a market for inventions that others didn't have the foresight or will to do.

365 Fascinating Things
In an interesting twist on typical fact book James Egen has curated a great list of things that most people think are true but turn out to be false.
This knowledge could have been presented in a dull textbook fashion but James chose to sprinkle the text with witty, sometimes sarcastic comments.
Well worth a read. I'm off to buy another one of his books. -
Enjoyable and informative book
This was full of good information. I find it very interesting that there are so many things that are generally misunderstood. -
Been spouting off useless facts all week since I read this book when waiting in an airport. Loads of fun. Very quick to read! Most of the facts seem well researched despite the dodgy links at the end to some odd websites that are not trustworthy at all. I only questioned 2 facts nearing the end (The fact on evolution was stupid as hell. It's not a fact, it's a theory). Apart from that it seems genuine.

This book 📚 was really interesting 🧐 and I learnt LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOAAAAAAADDDDDDSSSSSSSSS of cool 😎 stuff but sometimes it was punctuated badly such as there was a capital letter after a comma, And there weren’t full stops at the end of sentences

Okay
Okay but many things have been proven to be wrong. Still not a terrible effort and worth a read
