Annamae is the heroine and "runaway bride". She is also a semi-famous star who is part of a reality show starring her family. Annamae accidentally-on-purpose cancels her wedding via a radio show the day before her wedding and decides to make a run for it to try and discover who she actually is behind the camera.Wynn is the hero and doesn't want any attention as he is/was an undercover cop waiting to testify in court and part of witness protection. So when Annamae comes to his farm looking for a place to stay, he just knows it spells trouble but the best thing to do is keep her there where he can try and keep her from the public eye.This book can be read as a standalone and written from a dual pov with a hea. It has a bit of suspense and is slightly steamy - not explicit - but still what I would consider an adult 18+ romance. It was an ok read for me and I would give it an average of 2.5 stars
