abhorrent. as a woman with autism. the way you write about it makes it seem like a disease. you chose to have children, meaning you knew your child could come our with a disability. if you are having kids and are not ready to have a disabled child, do not have kids. it is not about you. you referred to it as a global crisis. disgusting. if you learned to listen to and understand your kids, it would be easier to raise them. autism has benefits and negatives, but most if the negatives come from a lack of awareness, acceptance and research. I wish 'autistic moms' would shut up. your kid is autistic not you, stop making it about you.
