Father for Her Newborn Baby Reviews

Ms. Lynne Marsh is fast becoming my favorite Medical Romance author. Her writing style captures my attention, intrigues, and entertains me while educating me or refreshing me about all these medical problems/jargon or anything related to medicine. I was so engrossed with this book.
It restored my belief that one can write romance – and do it well – without the drama, dark secrets hogwash we see in so many books today. Just pure unadulterated storytelling and great characterization. It's sexy and sweet. That’s what this story was. Sexy for the fantastic chemistry, tension, and attraction and sweet for the number of beautiful, tender feelings for a couple who set out to work together temporarily and ended up sharing their lives. -
FATHER FOR HER NEWBORN BABY by author Lynne Marshall is October 2015 release by Harlequin Medical Romance series. Its from Mini-Series-Cowboys, Doctors...Daddies!
Dr. Cole Montgomery hires Dr. Lizzie Silva and gets hooked by her small baby and her smile. Could he leave his bachelor ways now to settle with Lizzie and her daughter?
Lizzie doesn’t believe romance exists anymore, could Cole convince her that romance and love does exist?
FATHER FOR HER NEWBORN BABY is a second chance romance. Author Lynne Marshall brought this sparkling tale of unexpected and chance encounters turning into passion and sweet happy ever after. Lizzie is a strong heroine and Cole is gorgeous and sensitive. A reader would stay hooked until the last page in this medical drama.
Highly recommended for all readers of medical romance. -
Another charming Montgomery brother featured in the Cowboys, Doctors...Daddies miniseries finds romance unexpectedly entering his life. All he was supposed to be doing for several weeks was helping out his family. But when a woman and her adorable daughter become part of the bargain, he finds himself visualizing scenarios that he never thought would happen to him. Lynne Marshall makes me believe in the power of love and how it can change lives for the better.
Since Elisabete Silva is now a licensed doctor, the offer to work in a medical clinic in Cattleman Bluff, Wyoming is a stroke of luck. After graduating, she had not been able to find employment at any desired hospital and she really needs the income. Becoming a new mom recently with little support has been difficult for her, yet she is determined to give her young daughter a much better life than what she experienced. Lizzie is not certain what to expect in the small town where she will be moving for several months, but she knows any challenges must be faced for the sake of little Flora.
Though Dr. Cole Montgomery usually lives in another Wyoming town or is traveling around the country giving training sessions, the cardiologist has agreed to take over the duties at his brother’s clinic while his sibling goes on an extended honeymoon. He will also be responsible for watching over their father plus taking care of any business on the family ranch. When Cole hears there will be another doctor who just completed medical school assisting him, he is skeptical. But she quickly proves her capability when his father becomes ill. While her competency as a doctor makes things at the clinic run smoother, her appeal as a woman and even a mother only complicates matters for Cole.
Whenever Lynne Marshall writes a book, I know there will be lots of realistic feelings being portrayed by true-to-life characters. In her Cowboys, Doctors...Daddies miniseries, readers are doubly blessed because there are two tempting men to love. While the connected books do stand alone, reading HOT-SHOT DOC, SECRET DAD first makes things a little clearer as its events lead to what occurs in this story. Also, neither of these enchanting medical romances should be missed, as Lynne Marshall cleverly interweaves health issues with impassioned entanglements.
Cole is a very successful doctor who thinks his life is all planned out, but meeting a single mom who speaks her mind makes him realize there may be something important missing in his life. He respects Lizzie for overcoming so many obstacles, and can tell she is a knowledgeable doctor. While he does feel attracted to her, getting into a relationship is not anything he wants as the past has taught him it often brings misery. But occasionally the heart is not listening, especially when the sexual awareness is as intense as the desire between Cole and Lizzie. This couple had me liking them from their first meeting together, and they work superbly as a medical team. Yet any shared personal time often caused confusion as thoughts were frequently much more than just about being friends. How they work out their differences is told with one compelling scene after another. FATHER FOR HER NEWBORN BABY is continuously engrossing.

Father For Her Newborn Baby gives Lynne Marshall fans a chance to meet the other Montgomery brother from Cattleman Bluff, Wyoming. Famed cardiologist Cole Montgomery has been asked by his brother Trevor to work in his clinic while he honeymoons with his new wife Julie. Dr. Lizzie Silva is also asked hired to work at the clinic with the promise of room and board and she jumps at the chance so that she can provide a home for her baby girl Flora.
Author Lynne Marshall allows us to witness the struggles that these two people experience as they build a relationship together. Cole is reluctant because he had already dated a woman with a child and it hadn't worked out. Lizzie is hesitant because she had been badly hurt by the man who wanted nothing to do with their baby. Their journey to love and happiness is emotional and heartwarming and you will find yourself cheering that baby Flora will finally have a daddy!
I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I have provided that honest review. -

DNF for upsetting misogynistic stereotyping on page 31.

Cole Montgomery has closed his heart off to Love after seeing the bitter side of it. Realising that he is only as good as he looks or as good as what he can provide as a status or prestige. I guess, that harsh a reality will change a man (or a woman; I am not a sexist). The man does not ever expect anyone to love him for him or to ever fall in love himself because he also knows how much it hurts to lose your true love. He can very well see what has happened to his father after his mother's death after a long bout of illness.
Therefore he keeps himself isolated; never giving a chance to himself to feel anything tender. After all he was the best doctor at what he was doing. His speciality is a lot of technical words but in lay man terms he does surgery or procedure that helps his patients avoid open heart surgery (as his procedure is an alternative) which is more dangerous and more expensive.
But now that his brother has found his true love (along with the ready made family that was created almost 13 years ago), Cole has to step up for family and run his brother's clinic while he away on a small trip with his new family. Because Cole's sister-in-law was the Nurse Practitioner at his brother's clinic, his brother hires a Fresh Graduate (MD), Dr Elisabeta Silva, to help with the clinic.
Elisabeta goes by the name 'Lizzie' and is sort of have always been down on her luck. With the death of her grandmother when she was ten, Lizzie had been through many foster homes. Homes that lacked the basic element of love until she found this one woman, her last foster mother, who helped her change her life for good.
In medical college, dating her professor's son did not at all go well for her. What she thought of as love left her being manhandled and with a baby, A baby she loves so much that she is ready to do anything. Not getting into any resident program that she applied to, she accepts this position in a clinic in Wyoming because she has to provide for her little darling. At least she will still be practicing medicine this way.
Arriving to Wyoming, at Cattle M Ranch where she has been provided with boarding for the duration of her time at the clinic, she never thought she will find a home. A family that will love her and her daughter and not just forget them when her time there was up.
Getting to the man she loved is a tad difficult because he has a tendency of getting bull headed.
Cole believes himself to be doing the right thing when he lets Lizzie go after he finds her a place in a resident program but life has different plans for them.
Lizzie and Flora have settled for the quiet, and filled with love, life in the small town and have no intentions of returning to the city.
In time, Cole has to get his act together. But will he?

Father for Her Newborn Baby by Lynne Marshall
Cole Montgomery needed to step up for his brother Trevor Montgomery who runs the Cattleman Bluff Medical Center and for his father, Tiberius Montgomery. Tiberius is a cattle rancher; he finds both his sons prefer to be practicing medicine than to work the ranch.
Trevor and his new bride, Julie and their son James are going to be gone for approximately a month and Cole finds himself in position of running the medical center besides breaking in a new doctor at the medical center and helping his father at the ranch.
The medical center had offered Elisabete Silva the position and she is fresh out of medical school. Lizzie as she preferred to be called came with a 3 month old baby, Flora. No one told Cole that information and he was not happy. She came highly recommended by Larry Rivers, a respected professor who had mentored Trevor and trusted colleague for Cole.
The wedding was ending and the newly married couple had just left and now a town car was heading toward the ranch, it held Lizzie and baby Flora. Trevor had arranged for them to stay at the ranch.
Cole does find that Lizzie knows medicine well the very first night at the ranch when she noticed issues with Cole’s father and that helped save precious time getting him the medical help he needed.
Cole and Lizzie form this good working relationship but also something else was forming. Lynne Marshall writes a very wonderful medical but love story and you must read it and the accompanying story Hot Shot Doc, Secret Dad. The books complement each other wonderfully. -
Cole Montgomery does not do love anymore because he has experienced the side effects of it firsthand. Since he doesn't love he doesn't expect anyone to love him back. His parents were proof of what loving someone could do if things went south. Therefore he keeps himself hidden away from the world, closing himself off from feeling any emotion at all. He likes what he does for a living. Being a doctor gives him alternatives to free his mind off his own problems. When his brother scoots off with his lady love on a family vacation, Cole is left to run the clinic. Since Cole's sister-in-law is the Nurse Practitioner at the clinic, his brother hires Dr. Elisabeta Silva to help.
Dr. Silva, better known as Lizzie has always had bad luck. After her grandmother's death when she was merely ten, Lizzie has seen more foster homes than she could count. These homes lacked basic incentives that a child needs…for instance love. Until at one foster home, she meets a woman who has helped in changing her life. As an adult she has had to cope with a fair deal of her own heartbreaks. It hasn't been easy for her. When the opportunity arises for her to work in Wyoming she jumps at it with all the passion in her. It is in Wyoming that Lizzie finds a different kind of love in the form of the very broody Cole!
But will Cole have a change of heart and love again?
I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to fellow readers! It has a warm touch to it even though the medical field plays a small but vital role in contributing to the H/h's HEA.

In "Father for her Newborn Baby". highly-respected cardiologist Cole Montgomery is widely regarded as tops in his chosen field of specialization. Now it’s time for him to share his family responsibility and run Trevor’s clinic while the younger Montgomery enjoys an extended honeymoon. Coming back to Cattleman Bluff also means helping his father with the family’s Circle M Ranch. Lizzie knows how she feels about Cole, and she wants him to be a permanent part of the future for herself and her daughter. Can she make him see all that life has to offer them as a family? Author Lynne Marshall’s medical romances are extra-special because her own many years of medical experience make them so very readable.

Cole Montgomery was the older son of the wealthy Montgomery family and a very successful doctor who was a legend in cardiovascular surgery. He traveled the country teaching and promoting the procedure be had perfected. He was 40 and his relationships with women were failures. His relationship with his aging dad was terrible and Cole was beginning to dislike himself.
When his younger brother Trevor married, Cole came home to run the clinic while Trevor went on a honeymoon. He owed Trevor that as Trevor was the one who stayed home, helped with the ranch and helped care for his dad. Trevor could have been a big time specialist but decided to stay home and run the family practice clinic. Cole had not done family practice since med school but Trevor had hired a new doctor to help him while he was gone. Several things were not explained to Cole. The doctor was a woman, she would be living at the ranch and she had a newborn baby. -

Cole Montgomery, famed cardiologist, returns home for his brother’s wedding. He is taking over his brother’s medical practice while he’s away on his honeymoon. During this time his father has a medical emergency and Cole hires Dr. Lizzie Silva to tend his father and is quite surprised to find she is not only a beauty but she has arrived with a small baby in tow.
Lizzy Silva is now a licensed physician and has a new opportunity to work in a clinic in Cattleman Bluff, Wyoming. She’s grateful as she has had much difficulty finding employment since med school. She has had little support for herself and her baby and it seems she is facing the world alone with her little one. As Lizzy observes Cole falling for her baby daughter she wonder if there’s a chance he will do the same with her. -
If review of this book shows up on line I apologize. It posted on the wrong book. I am halfway through this portion of the book. It is a two for one with a UK cover. It still gets the five star rating. This is the other Montgomery brother and his story. Cole is also a doctor. He is a bitter man and not looking for love. Really? Well, that isn't going to work when he meets Lizzie. She grew up hard in Boston in foster homes. Now she is trying to make a life for her and her baby. You will have to read this book to find out what happens. I don't want to give to much away. Great read and a must read. Love the Montgomery family. Hope there will be more on this family.

"Father for Her Newborn Baby (Cowboys, Doctors...Daddies" by Lynne Marshall is a medical romance and second book in the author's two part series of the Montgomery brothers. Dr. Cole Montgomery comes to town and hires Dr. Lizzie Silva to help out at his brothers clinic while Montgomery brother 1 is on his honeymoon. Lizzie had a relationship with the son of one of her professor's and is pregnant. Both fight the pull of attraction toward each other and Cole is also fighting demons from his past.
You don't have to read the first book in the series "Hot Shot Doc, Secret Dad" in order to follow along in this story, but I highly recommend it. -
Cole was so easy to fall for and Lizzie was inspiring in this heartwarming sequel to Hot-Shot Doc, Secret Dad. The saga continued and I got to revisit several of the characters I already grew to love and found some more characters just as wonderful. The author has a unique way of making me experience the emotions of the story. When I can feel so in tune with a book that I cry or laugh and finish the book feeling like I was just rewarded, the author has achieved something special that reminds me why I love to read. Book given by author in exchange for an honest review.

Father for Her Newborn Baby is another great Lynne Marshall book! From the start, you are captured into the story and held there. To be able to go on their honeymoon, a couple hires Dr Lizzie Silva to run their clinic along with his brother Cole. Cole was unaware she was told: she could bring her baby and could stay at their ranch. It leads to many exciting, and romantic adventures. I enjoy Lynne's books and can not wait for the next one!
-
This is a great continuity story or can be read as a stand alone. I instantly took to Lizzie and was rooting for her to succeed. Her character was well developed and easy to connect with. I love these two together! The only thing I missed was catching up with Trevor and Julie. I definitely recommend this book!

I wrote this book and loved my visit under the western skies of Cattleman Bluff, Wyoming with the Montgomery brothers of Circle M Ranch. This is a linked book with Hot-Shot Doc, Secret Dad (though both can be read as standalone)where I explore the theme of COWBOYS, DOCTORS...DADDIES. Cole and Lizzie's story was a tough one to write, but I'm so glad I did.
-
My favorite medical romance book i ever read. love the father and Son realation.

Father of Her Newborn Baby
She had left Baltimore with her newborn daughter. Going to Wyoming was an adventure like she had never been. She was not your typical story of success. She was born to a addict but ended up going through foster care. Her one time she thought she was in love he left her never wanting to trust another man. Here in this strange country she finds herself working with an older doctor who has his own drive to be the best. I didn't enjoy the story line like most other books by Lynn Marshall. But there was an HEA ending. -
For some reason I just couldn't connect with the characters!
So I skipped ... a lot! -
Much better than the first. Loved the dynamic between the heroine and Monty the heroes father
