loved Charles Dickens' story A Christmas Carol. Moreover, the passing of time has done
nothing to diminish my love of this story. It was with that story in mind that
I wrote this one, my humble offering, a tale that ensues alongside the original, crossing it from time to time. I call it A Carol Betwixt.
Christmas: A Carol Betwixt Reviews
-
An interesting look at A Christmas Carol from a different perspective. Not so much Scrooge based but rather centered around 2 men doing good in the Christmas season. Otherwordly characters and good writing make this a great read for the Holidays.

This is a nice little short story -- a different take on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

Nearly everyone is familiar with the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Have you ever been curious as to what the other characters of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” were up to when Scrooge was being taken on a Christmas Voyage through his life? This is the story of the charity collectors. They have taken in a young orphan boy and their search to find his family touches and intertwines with the beloved story Dickens told so well, encountering, Nephew Fred, the ghost of Jacob Marley, The ghost of Christmas and others.
This book was no more difficult to read than the original, A Christmas Carol. I did enjoy the out and about flavor of the story along with seeing minor characters in a different light. The original story has been done, been abridged and been sanitized in so many ways over the years that this was a terrific original take on it. -
started off really well but soon became underdeveloped. fantasy story which tried to incorporate Dickens A Christmas Carol and up to a point it managed this. pity the characters were a little underdeveloped as had potential to be a real romp through the lives of the 2 charity workers.
