I'm shocked. This started out as my favorite series by this author but now....well...
I didn't like the changes in Davy in this book. First off, he decided he and Nora will be together. He says to her he's not playing her games anymore. If I recall correctly, it wasn't Nora that was playing games and pushing her away...it was him. So for him to say that, I wanted to slap him. Then he totally changed. As soon as they officially got together, he became commanding, issuing orders and when Nora jokingly called him "Master" he very seriously said "careful, I may come to like that title." and I was left just shocked. That was out of nowhere.
I really wish this had been better. But not only did the characters have drastically different personalities (and the horrible Burt), but it all felt rushed. -

When I was reading this I had to go back and make sure I was reading the right series. These are not the same people from the previous 2 installments. It felt rushed, unfinished, and greatly unsatisfying. Seriously I was waiting for someone to explain Davy's dual personality and or bipolar tendencies. It wasn't romantic or sweet he was just kind of an asshole and we were supposed to fall all over ourselves when he finally came around again. Nope sorry. Thank goodness for Kindle Unlimited cause that's a dollar you'd definitely want back. -
