Release Date: July 4, 2015
Genre: Chick Lit
Actual Rating: 4 stars
I am so glad I decided to pick up this series again because it has really gotten me out of a book slump! If you enjoy chick lit novels about hilarious and accident prone heroines and books that are a great escape from reality then I highly recommend reading the Clara Andrews series. For the next couple of weeks I plan to read this entire series as the books are fairly short and so much fun. I also want to mention that if you are a fan of the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella (I am re-reading the series this year because I loved it so much) this series is very close to it. While our Heroine Clara is not a shopaholic like Becky Bloomwood, she is a close runner up in terms of humor and things like that!
In this installment, Clara Andrews is FINALLY getting married. Of course there will be a few snags along the way- like the grooms mother planning the wedding- but Clara will make the best of it as she always does! This book focuses not only on weddings though but friendships as well. I love how the author shows the importance of having close friends and how they (as secondary characters) play an important role in the series. -
I LOVE THIS BOOK! OH MY GOODNESS when the girls: Clara, Lianna, and two mothers went home from their trip everything was magical! From the plane, she had a limo waiting, a glass of bubbles, a note from the beloved one, an acceptable palace (because she was treated like a queen at her own wedding), the makeup and hair-do, the beautiful satin gown, the gifts, the song - everything was perfect! I fell inlove reading this masterpiece. Definitely recommended! Cheers to Lacey London <3

I definitely did not see what was coming in this book. It was such a riot of a read from start to finish. I grew to love both mother's and I really love the side characters, too. Lacey London did just a great job and giving us the unexpected and tying it all together in the end. Love how it turned out!

I can't get enough of Clara and her adventures! Really enjoyed book three and looking forward to the next one!
-
I really should have read the first book before reading this one but that is before I realised this was a series, I was intrigued by it so I downloaded it from the Amazon website (it was free).
The three friends; Lianna, Clara and Gina find themselves engaged at the same time, what a coincidence. Can you believe it? Neither can I. Since I didn't read the first three books, I don't think I really found it that hard to get in to the story (not that I would advise you to do it that way!).
Clara is really funny, honestly we are so much alike. The pressure is getting to Clara especially when she is finds out Lianna has already chosen a date, she also chooses a date. When she tells this to Oliver, he isn't really surprised but he does advise her on getting a wedding planner. Unknown to Clara, her mother in law, Janie comes along to help (thanks to Oliver). OMG, if that was me I would be so infuriated! Clara has more tolerance than I do, especially with the way Janie behaves like a outrageous teenager. Honestly she is married for crying out loud! I have to admit though, it is these little things that Janie does that make you fall in love with her. Although I don't personally agree with what she does, she does have a good heart.
The plot takes an interesting turn when Dolly, Dixie and Dallas who turn up for Gina's wedding. Warned by Oliver they may be a handful, Clara overwhelms herself with the marriage, Janie, the bridesmaid and job begin to get too much for her. Alongside that, a mistake from Dan shatters Lianna. Will Clara be able to help her best friend? I am really in love this Suave store..
Oliver has to be my favourite character, I couldn't help it. He was so adorable, its #couplegoals for me! *sighs*

I just love these British romantic comedies by Lacy London, which is exactly where Clara and her best friends {Lianna, and Marc} run a shoe or fashion boutique, and where Clara meets handsome Oliver Andrews.
But dating Oliver comes with baggage--his crazy beehive buzzin' mother! Janie's outrageous fashion, brashness, and round-the-clock cocktails add hilarious hijinks and cringe-worthy Clara moments. At first I hid along with Clara, dreading Janie's bossy barging, but soon I was laughing and couldn't wait to see what she came up with next. Psst--her high hair holds lots of surprises, and I was a sucker for the grandest of them all.
I confess I began reading these out of order. It all started with a Kindle freebie weekend--
Clara at Christmas and I was soon hooked on these comedic babies! A funny statement by Clara leads each book, which had me chuckling out loud. To my delight, they are a dozen books in the series-- so like virtual doughnuts, I'm queuing up my reading list.
As an American writer, I enjoy England's English nuances. I love their sayings and expressions, and I appreciate the slight spelling difference some of our words have. This adds location and charm to Clara's adventures and plops me in the middle of London, along for the ride!
Now if only I could join Clara and Lianna at The Bistro for a girls night and a burger. -
This series is so funny, in this third instalment, Clara and her two friends all manage to bring the dates of their weddings forwards. Clara's other half, Oliver brings his overbearing mother, Janie into the story. Janie takes over the wedding planning- all of it! And takes over the whole book with hilarious results. Oliver hardly gets a look in! Main part of the story is every bride's fun bit, the hen do! Clara is an adorable character, she even gets to score some super friendship points when one of her mates is heartbroken. A fun uplifting read, am saving the next in series for next time I need a lift!

Love this series of books
I’m really enjoying this series of books and this one was really good. You love the characters from very early on so really feel like you know them. Full of laughs and a few tears this is a great read. But now I’m on to the next instalment! -
Multiple weddings a the span of weeks
For the most part, I about laughed out loud at all of the things that happened in this story except for one aspect that I won't spoil for new readers. Oliver showed his romantic style with a flourish ending that came unexpectedly. Five stars. -
Great book series
Loved reading these and the fact they are on kindle unlimited for free read every single one of those amazing books -
Great series
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the two before however I’m hooked to this series and will definitely be reading the rest of the series -
Easy read just wish it had more details
-
Writer is better with this one
-
The more I read, the less I like the series...
-
These stories are taking over my free time!! Just so well written, they should be a film!!

Garbage.

This book was funny, entertaining and exactly what a chick lit book should be about! The main character, Clara was a typical female who kept getting herself into all sorts of embarrassing situations that most women can relate to.
I thoroughly enjoyed the developing relationship between Clara and her American love, Oliver especially the first meet in the bar with vomit in her hair! I always knew things would work out for her, but the bumpy road which she had to take to get there, was well worth the read.
I felt this book was well written with a good pace and hilarious humour! The chapters were very short which kept me wanting to read more and it didn't go overboard with too much slush and girlyness!
I would recommend the Clara Andrews series to anyone wanting a light-hearted read with lots of laughs and "oh no" moments and will definitely be finishing the series myself!
5 out of 5 stars -
Oh how I enjoyed every single page of Meet Clara Morgan, book 3 in the series. It contained every single thing I love when reading, humour, love, escapism, warmth and real issues, written with a depth and honesty. If I had to swap with a book character it would be Clara, she's written as such a real person. Who wouldn't want a best friend like Lianna, friends and boss Marc and his new wife Gina. Even her outgoing MIL to be packs a loving punch in their lives, she has some power to get Clara's prim mother to move over to the dark side. Most of all my jealousy is for Oliver, Clara's husband to be, I loved him in books 1 and 2 but now I'm totally In love with him. What's more, Lacey London has written about people who eat and drink and indulge in retail therapy. For me this book has it all and I for one can't wait to read book 4.......5 huge stars.

Great read
I felt like this was me and my friends, it is so easy to relate to all the characters in this book. We all have been in the position that Clara finds herself. Overbearing mother-in-law, devastated best friend and our own mother who disapproves of nearly everything, feeling trapped and not being able to say no.
There is one thing I 100% agree with and that's a few days in the sun does you the world of good.
Fantastic writing from Lacey London, believable characters, wholesome feel good book that every female can relate to. -
I really enjoyed this book. I am hooked on the 'Clara' series each story is funny, poignant and fast paced. This time Clara is preparing for her wedding as are Gina and Lianna and as ever the antics of the three are hilarious. The twists in this tale were not quite what I expected but the book was all the better for them and that's why I enjoy Lacey London's style - just when you think you have her characters pegged they do something totally out of left field. The ending was absolute perfection!
-
Third book of the series and, as usual, Lacey London has done it again. The main character, Clara Andrews, is hysterical with her antics and over rationalizing everything. You laugh and, in my case, cry as well. Oliver is slightly annoying not standing up to his mother and defending his fiancée but you have to love him regardless. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Very enjoyable! Loved series
It was very entertaining. Funny, romantic, silly and the characters were out of this world. Janie is a kick and keeps the reader laughing, yet glad she is not my mother in law. -
Book 3 Does NotDisappoint
Book three continues the adventures of Clara and her friends. It stays in the strict first person style of only hearing Clara's thoughts. But seeing the thoughts of a young English lady is very interesting.
