  Glad to see Noah was not dead. I would love to know what secrets the Professor has. Something seems off concerning Noah and Clementine, just don't sit right with me my gut tells me they are hiding something. Charlotte is so in love I hope she don't get hurt in the end with the web of lies are omission.

  There is a lot if bad reviews because it is a short series. So what!? The books are still really good they are well written! I hope people can get past all the reviews and give this a chance.

  So, I have read ALL 15 "books" in this series, and I have no desire to write 15 reviews, so I am going to write ONE review to cover the series-- or at least most of it. I might write another review for book 15 which kind of summarizes the series or adds points/ thoughts for those who have read the series. I am going to do my best to keep this review spoiler free.
  
  Ok. This is a true serial story-- you know, like the ones published in newspapers hundreds of years ago... The series, SO FAR, consists of 15 "books" that are each about 40 pages long, with book 15 being twice that length. To you or I it feels like each book is about a chapter. Lucky for you, the "books" have all been published. For those of who stated the series back in January, we have been spoon-fed each of these "books" over a 7 month period. YOU get to download them all and read in one sitting- if you so choose. MAYBE, lucky for you, if you have Kindle Unlimited. The books are free through this subscription. I have not done the math to figure out how much the series would cost if you don't have this awesome feature from amazon. Anyway.
  
  When you go to buy the books, you will notice that most of the ratings hover just under 4.0 stars, with a few "books" at or above. I honestly believe the stars are more a reflection of the author's publishing practices than of the books themselves. There is a lot of talk on book reviews about how long people have had to wait for books to be published, the lack of response or "contactability" of the author, Hannah Ford, the pricing, and the lengths of the "books"-- notice I am using "" marks around the word book???
  
  If you remove a all that angst from the reviews, what you get is that his is a solid, at times, intense story with elements of bdsm, an alpha male, fetishes, and a dang good mystery to boot. Charlotte is a law student. Noah is a famous lawyer accused of murder. One of Charlotte's professors, is famous for having his students help on cases. Charlotte and another student, Josh, are the lucky kids who get to help with Noah's defense. And so the story goes...
  
  But this isn't a normal court case by any means, because Charlotte already slept with Noah, and Noah thinks he knows it all and it a bit-- or a lot- difficult throughout the story.
  
  As you read through each book, there is some pretty hot sex with strong elements of bdsm (an actual ball gag), a bdsm club called Force, a psychopath, and some interesting twists and turns. Those twists and turns are what make the story so great.
  
  I would caution you, that around book 14, some pretty serious shit goes down, which could be a trigger for some people. It was book 14 or 15 ( can't remember) where I actually got teary-eyed.
  
  Now, some words of caution-- Charlotte is not always brilliant. She is whiny, and needy, and a stupid girl. Noah is a downright prick at times. I felt some of the bums stuff wasn't realistic. She gets her ass whipped, but there's never any mention of soreness or stiffness or any type of after care, which I think is unrealistic. Something else happens near the end, and it feels like the characters just get up and walk away, with no trouble at all-- someone ends up with a bunch of stitches (50) and is having Seanad lifting all sorts of things, and going about life as normal 24 hours later-- just not truly realistic...
  
  So, here's where my biggest complaint comes in, and why I gave so few stars to some of the books...there are grammar issues. Ugh! I hate that! With the shortness of some of the books, you just got into the flow, and BAM! It's over. You won't have that trouble because you can them at one time. Finally, when you near the end of book 15, you know there is no way the whole series is going to be wrapped up... And you start thinking.... Oh no!!! NOT another book???? And inside you just wanna scream a little bit. Then you get to the end, and here's what it says-- no spoiler!!!

  AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! You have gotta be kidding me!!!!! So, by the end of "book" 15 Noah's case is worked out for good or bad, and now we are going to start an entire NEW GROUP OF BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!

  I don't know that I'm going to stick around for SEASON TWO!!! All the reasons above that readers were so annoyed with, are still happening... It's just darn frustrating!!!!!!! Ugh!

  READER/BUYER BEWARE: At first, I liked that I could buy all 10 books for .99 and getting a good deal. WRONG!! There's OVER 22 Books! The others at $2.99. This author knows how to rip the customer off by offering short stories where the storyline never ends. These books offer bonus books that you find after a few short chapters, and those too offer short stories getting you to buy MORE BOOKS to find the conclusion. Each book is ridiculously short and there is no group deal of 11-22+. For the cost to read the beginning to end, you would think this author would employ her skills in editing her multiple books by spell checking. There are so many unanswered questions throughout the storyline. The characters give quick short answers & never follow up leaving you wondering. I did like the storyline, but after a few books in I couldn't help but feel I had already read this story. Then I realized that the storyline was almost identical to a book I read a few months ago, minus some alterations here & there. Other than that I did like the book(s), but I can't like the author who intentionally rips off the customer.

  *Read under the Amazon Kindle Unlimited Program: I'm not sure if you ever read any of the reviews but I would like to publicly thank you Ms Ford for keeping your books in the program. There's nothing I enjoy more than reading a great book or series and like so many others, I could never afford to follow my favorite serials without Kindle Unlimited. So many of the other authors have removed their books from the program so I salute you Ms Ford and I very much appreciate your effort to consider the feelings and the wallets of your loyal fans.

  OMG!!! What He Promises is Book Fifteen in the spellbinding series, What He Wants by Hannah Ford and I totally loved it! This series totally rocks my world! Each successive release becomes even more powerful, exhilarating, mysterious, suspenseful and sexy. And yes, this is a serial with lots of nail-biting, white-knuckle cliffhangers, but I personally love the excitement and anticipation of a good serial. It's just like watching your favorite weekly TV shows and perfect for a quick lunchtime read! Although Book Eleven and Twelve were by far the most emotionally charged installments to date with the raw intensity of the exchange between the story's two main characters, Book Thirteen and Fourteen literally explode with surprising revelations and frighteningly dark sexual violence that shocked me senseless and left me with my mouth agape! I was crying and screaming like a banshee! Oh my glory! But Whew - Book Fifteen just made my day and floated my boat! OMG! I love it! Talk about unexpected plot twists - again! The story is exciting, dark, thrilling, riveting, compelling, powerful, mysterious, suspenseful, enticing, addictive, romantic, seductive, sensual and steamy. The dialogue is smart, well written, intelligent, arousing and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. Law student Charlotte Holloway may only be 21 but she has worked tirelessly to gain favor with her law professor and now she finally has the long awaited opportunity to prove her worth. She has been assigned to work with him on a very high profile murder case. The client is a none other than Noah Cutler, a very powerful and sought after attorney himself. Danger, violence, murder, mystery, jealousy, betrayal, intrigue, suspense, a sex club, a slave auction and a sadistic madman-check! Romance, passion, seduction, several sweet surprises including a shelter dog named Docket and an extra large helping of steamy dreamy sex sex-you bet! That and a whole lot more! This just gets better and better! One heck of a heart-pounding ride! And the good news is there will be a second season of this thrill ride and I can hardly wait! But having said that, my only issue with this author is her failure to provide her readers with any information or links to subscribe to notifications announcing the release of a new installment of the book. It is both inconvenient and time consuming to continuously search in hopes of finding a new installment especially when the release schedule is totally irregular and inconsistent. I am following this author on Amazon but to date, I have not received the first email announcing a new release. I enjoy this series and would like to continue reading more from this author but it is inconsiderate for any author to expect loyalty from her readers when no effort is made on their part to accommodate our convenience. Although this in no way detracts from the contents of this story, it does influence my decision on whether I will read any successive books written by Ford and is the reason I am subtracting a star from my rating. Deliciously dark, powerfully compelling, completely captivating, seriously sexy and definitely entertaining!

  This one was a little longer! These books leave you wanting more and more. It is getting harder to leave a review without spoilers. These books are good and the anticipation of each book grows as you finish one you need the next one. So much happens in this one on to the next.

  I enjoy reading these books and have enjoyed the story line, however, the chapter books are starting to really become bothersome. You never really know when they are coming out. I feel like i'm invested in the story now and what to know how it ends. So if that was season one with 16 "books" does that mean that season two will have another 16 "books"? I wish the author had a webpage to list updates.

  So my big problem with this book is Noah has major surgery, 50 stitches and some staples, almost dies and two days later he is back to work and can move around like nothing ever happened...without pain meds.

  Oh my geez this author did such an amazing job with these two characters that I wanted to scream to the top of the highest hill. I was so taken by this author with all her books and to read this book 15 was such a joy that had my head spinning I was wanting to not put the book down for fear it would disappear. Oh my geez
  
  These books need to be read in order no doubt cause you might miss something truly

  I really did like the series. I wish that she had just written the book and been done with it. It frustrated me to have to wait on the next one to come out. HOWEVER! it really is worth the read. Loved the ending, and maybe it's not the ending. It's almost like a TV series. This was season 1.

  Some of it was a bit rough for my taste and I can not believe that people have that much sex but each to his own in my opinion!
