Christmas Fare is a wonderful book to have especially during Christmas time. Looking at old Christmas cards, birthday cards and Valentine card from way back brings back such warm memories or the past. Along with cards, it's accompanied by traditional old recipes such as Short bread, Mincemeat, Rich Plum Cake and many more. This book is a treasure.

This book combines pictures of Victorian and Edwardian Christmas cards with text about Christmas food from the past and recipes for it. It’s a bit of a mash up but it works very well and has beautiful pictures.
