    Amazing ending

The third book in this series is probably my favorite. So many adventures and incredible scenes. I don’t want to spoil it. I love this world so much and hope there is more to come.

    Great series!

I loved the characters, the action, and the romance. So many twists and turns and I didn't find it too predictable. I loved the fairytale stories mixed in with the king Arthur theme.

Third book didn’t quite hold my attention like the others. Enjoyed the story but felt it was a bit rushed through.

    Star Fire
    Katie M. John

I absolutely adore Mina Singer and Blake Beldeviere.

OMG Katie M John how could you do that to me. You Killed Mina and burned down my future home. I cried.

This book is the last in the trilogy and what a way to end it. Here was me thinking it was going to be a very happy ever after and it really was but not before the sorrow takes us.

I really enjoyed this book, the old meets new, Arthurian meets modern. Katie as ever produces exceptional written work, she has a magickal way with words that grab the reader and draws them in. She has me totally captivated throughout the whole three books and I just fell in love with Meadowlake and the characters.

The full moon after they return from Egypt poor Mina discovers something so shocking that she does not want to believe it but with the help of the Secret Society of the Starfire sisterhood. Mina gets arrested for the alleged murder of one of the realm women and taken to the Templar headquarters which are hidden within snow covered mountains in Switzerland. She has one week before she is executed. Will Mina be saved.

Blake accepts a quest to recover the holy grail in order to have a chance at saving Mina's life, he takes Sam along with him. This takes him through the magical French forest within and with out The Realm. Blake soon realises that Morgana is already aware that he and Sam are on there way. Blake is determined to end Morgana's life.

At Meadowlake Vivien gave birth to Sophia but she died in the fire that took Meadowlake. Sophia manages to locate Mina and joins her in her oubliette where they keep her lock away like a monster.

I was absolutely gutted when the story came to an end

"Egypt changed them both in ways no one ever expected. As murder and dark arts cast a terrible shadow over both The Real World and The Realm. Mina's connection to the mysterious Star Fire Sisterhood results in her becoming The Templar's number one suspect.
Set amongst the snowy mountains of Switzerland and the ancient magical forests of France, Blake and the House of Beldevier are given just one chance to save Mina's life - the recovery of The Holy Grail.
In this epic heart-racing finale, ancient myths come alive and old scores are settled. One thing for sure ... the clock is ticking."

Star Fire, the thrilling conclusion to the Knight Trilogy by Katie M John, is a twisting maze of deceit, love, and friendship. Blake and co are given one chance to save Mina, and to do so, they must split up and work together for the sake of not just their friend, but for all mankind. Time is of the essence. Love and friendship are put to the test. But who will conquer their demons, and who will fall by the wayside?

The story starts off where we last left off, with Blake and Mina returning to college after an eventful summer, where they hope to resume a normal life. But, of course, things don't always go as planned. Katie's lyrical writing sets the scene in a sometimes fanciful world, as we watch our four friends battle for Mina's life, and she tries to understand just exactly what she has become. It comes to a heart pounding conclusion that leaves no one untouched. I loved finally getting to know Delta better; she has been an enigma throughout the series, and has become quite a fan favorite. I often found myself surprised at the turn of events unfolding in front of my eyes, and exclaimed to myself out loud on a few occasions. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I felt afraid for them....

The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Now we come to the conclusion of The Knight Trilogy in Star Fire. Mina and Blake both have their own secrets. Secrets that they haven't even told each other much less anyone else. Blake has not told anyone what happen to him on his quest when he was close to dying. While Mina had to fight with a demon which would help her to save Blake's life.

When Mina's secret is revealed and the truth comes out about who or what she has become. Mina is arrested and taken to the mountains in Switzerland and locked up. Blake and Sam must go on a journey to the ancient magical forests of France. Blake is given one chance to save Mina's life. He must go and find The Holy Grail and bring it back with him to save her life. Will Blake find The Holy Grail? Can he make it back in time to save Mina?

Blake is given a certain amount of time to go and find The Holy Grail or Mina will die. The quest that he must make is a test of the mind and heart and not physical. He must remain strong and never forget his love for Mina.

Mean while Delta has her own little quest to make and things that she has to do in order to save Mina's life herself. Delta is one of the best friends that anyone could ever have. Is Delta strong enough to fight a demon to keep Mina alive? Can she actually do what is asked of her to save Mina? How many friends would do what she did and went through to save your life? I really loved how Mina, Blake, Sam and Delta cared for each other to do the things they did for each other. How they put the others feelings before their own. These four people were not selfish in any way. How many of us would love or do have friends like this?

So this is the third and final installment in the series and I am sad to see it end. I loved this series, it was unique and I fell in love with The Realm, Mina and Blake. Everything was just so wonderfully written and described in detail you felt like you were sitting among the characters.

Mina and Blake returned from Egypt changed and both in different ways. Mina was inducted into the Star Fire Sisterhood and as such had to keep a deep dark secret from all. Blake never sleeps and Mina is worrying that something may be wrong.

A murder takes place and Mina being what she is, is taken into custody and taken to the Templars headquarters in Switzerland. Blake must find The Holy Grail in order to free Mina and takes Sam along on the quest. Meanwhile, Delta undertakes a quest of her own to hunt down Mina's demon and travels through her past to discover what a family really means.

Time is running out for Mina and the quests must end quickly. But will Blake be able to escape from Morgan with Sam and The Holy Grail? Can Delta destroy Mina's demon and free her from torment? Will love prevail?

What a perfect way to end the trilogy. All the questions a reader has is answered in the end. This story is full of love, action and mystery. The story is told perfectly, easy to read and keeps the reader sitting on the edge of your seat. Wish the series could have gone longer, it was so much fun to read.

This is the last book in the trilogy and while it was fast paced at times I did find it too unbelievable in places. Mina and Blake are forever changed after Egypt and both have to make adjustments although neither of them confide in each other. After all they had been through to be together I would have thought they trusted each other more. On yet another quest, Blake must defeat Morgan if he has any chance of saving Mina from her fate. Finding Sophia at the end did not really make sense to me and there was no real explanation offered. I was confused how she would just know where to go and be able to survive under those conditions. The ending was great, all the loose ends tied up and Morgan got her just desserts. Not my favorite book of the series but it was an enjoyable read none the less.

  • Mea

I read the previous two books and had high hopes for this one. There were too many unanswered questions, leading me to believe there may be another book in the future. Questions such as did Delta find true love, or was she harassed by normies because of her past? Did Sam find true love and did he ever confront his father? Did Daisy ever find out what was going on? How did Mina's mother act when finding out about Mina's marriage? Was Mina still a Magical after what happened at the end or not?

And some things were just too conveniently done...too cut and dried. Sigh.

I did enjoy the series for the most part I just with there was more information to finish it off.

I have found my new favorite author. Her writing sings to my soul, and all the different mythologies weaved into one insanely gorgeous fictional world keeps me smiling. I feel the book could have been longer, but that's because I didnt want it to end.
    Grab the Trilogy!
On to my next Katie M John book xoxo

  • Mitebsyco

Really liked this series. The only reason for one less star is a lack of editing.

  • Claire

It was a struggle to read. To many mythologies and story lines made it hard to fall into.

  • Pauline

As with all trilogies, the last book in the three was a bit of a disappointment.
