From 6-12 months, as soon as he woke up, Elliot loved to go outside on our porch and search for birds and listen to their morning birdsong, so I checked out bird books from the library this past summer. He enjoyed this one more than illustrated books I checked out last month. He loved watching the pet parakeets in their cage at my parents' house in Oregon, so he especially enjoyed the pages with parakeets.
