While the title is somewhat misleading to how the word “worship” is interpreted today, it really only means veneration or honor to the saints and to Mary. I don’t read a lot of books written from 1800s, so it took me some time getting used to the sentences and what they meant. However, after I understood everything, I really appreciated Brownson’s way of explaining the veneration to saints and to Mary.
