Short & Sweet Review
A widower gets a taste of ambrosia salad dessert from the beautiful woman who moves in next door and he is hooked – on the sweet salad and its creator.
One of my favorites in this romance anthology. A beautifully written, sensual romance. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I enjoyed this sweet little book of short stories. As a foodie, I loved that each story had a recipe relevant to the tale at the end.
Among my favorites were Trouble with Trifles, Blackberries in the Morning, and Sugar and Sunlight. Well written heroes, strong female heroines and the best part - dessert. :) -
I found this book on the author's website; this is my honest review
#7 A Taste of Ambrosia (THIS BOOK ONLY)
-Fun Peeping Tom vs. Exhibitionist kind of (clean) story.
-Fast, to the point, plenty of rumors and gossips, and hatefulness because someone is different.
-I guess things haven't changed much since the 1950s.
-Everything steps around a recipe of ambrosia (recipe included). -
Taste Me, Tempt Me: Eight Tales of Sweet and Spicy Romance
Eight contemporary and historical romance by eight authors. Each storied varied in the Romance genre from sweet to spicy. I did prefer the sweet romance a bit more that the "spicy" ones, because that is just my preference.
One thing I really liked about this book is at the end of each story there was a recipe which pertained to the story. I found it original and I love originality in books. My favorite was Love in the Lavendar.
Overall I found the stories were enjoyable. I gave four stars because some of the stories had a bit too much sex for my liking. BUT I do feel those who love romance will enjoy
Taste Me, Tempt Me: Eight Tales of Sweet and Spicy Romance -
I'm a new convert the world of short stories, and they occasionally still leave me a little flat. I usually just want more to make a story complete. The stories in Taste Me, Tempt Me left me just right, satiated, but with enough room left for another bite. This collection of eight romance stories was nearly perfect, each story a delightful tidbit just right for sampling. The food theme was definitely present, but not contrived. If you like romance but only have time for a little bit now and then, Taste Me, Tempt Me may be just right for you.

This was a fun little collection of short romance stories, some sweet and some sexy. Well worth the money spent, and it goes to a good cause!
