    I'm forced to do this or can't get off the page

    Outrageous
    To force a review of any book.
    Requiring a review of with so many words for Amazon and Goodreads or else.
    I skimmed through a bit enjoying the lovely illustration and when I went to exit, this review, page comes up and wouldn't allow me to do anything until I reviewed the book... Wow and you think I'm going to give a great review in this kind of situation?

    I know this is just an introductory book. I purchased it because I have always loved rocks and minerals. Some of the words used in the book, such as igneous could have been defined in a glossary/dictionary in the back. I felt like the book just suddenly ended. Those are my only complaints with this book.

    Beautiful pictures but...

    Beautiful pictures, however you can't use this as a field guide. My son read it in 5 minutes and then set or aside. I had hoped to have him checking back to ID rocks.

    Don't waste your $ on this book, I was expecting a good beginner level. This book isn't even that good.
