We often don't understand how we're feeling. On rare occasions, we do. But it's even more rare for us to really understand why we feel the way we do. We often blame our spouses because they're the ones we're fighting with. We blame money because it's the thing we're fighting about. But what is the real culprit and how often do we really see it? This book takes you on an introspective journey into the human heart. If you've felt a sense of emptiness in life... if you've wondered where the joy has gone, as well as the peace and purpose you once knew, then I invite you to join me on this journey. This series will be an adventure that's beneficial in many ways. This book is great for small groups and Bible study groups, or for you to simply enjoy beneath the shade of your favorite tree. Welcome to the adventure. Let's explore the heart together.

I found it surprising that a book of this length had so much meat in it. I found myself reading very slowly to make sure I took it all in. His examples brought back many recollections I had pushed to the back of my mind, creating a most pleasant reading experience.
For me, I found his premise (without describing it before you read it) to be surprising in its simplicity and yet so recognizably true. The author draws from a depth of understanding that was reassuring to me. I also found that many good memories came alive again in an unexpected way while reading this book.
“To Blame a Sunset” is a wholesome and godly read. The author almost instinctively combines real life failures with a solution offering a better future. I recommend this book highly to those of us who want to find more meaning to our lives. You won’t want to put it down.
