On one last good day for Moira, Texas, the Wests, the Eelings, and the Duggans wake assuming it would be no different than the one before. Each family is pursued to the edge by the ghosts of their pasts.
Jaden West is reckless, a disabled war veteran, abusing his meds as his trail of dirty secrets comes to light.
Warren and Rich Eeling - money, guns, moving to Dallas, all become matters of life and death as their own daily battles with each other escalate.
Pearl Duggan, a bitter widow, grows more resentful of her isolated life with her beautiful daughter injured 20 years ago in a horrific drill accident.
Interested only in the stacks of cold hard cash the ex-con dangled in front of them, neither Ross Cowart nor Austin Merchant anticipated the horrific consequences that have just started to unwind. Just what constituted the cargo they agreed to smuggle for the sadistic leader of a brutal east European gang?
The two wealthy businessmen, unwitting pawns who may become the architects of their small town's destruction, and the citizens of Moira, find themselves unexpectedly swept into an extremist conspiracy to destabilize and infect their country.

One Last Good Day (Eelings' Rare Earth #1) Reviews

I really enjoyed this book. Short and sweet, however, it is packed full of dramatic details about people from a past time. This book was incredibly easy to read, but it packed a punch. I loved the drama and all the details the author used to convey their message. The read definitely brought out many emotions throughout. I recommend checking out this novel. 5 stars
