Here at last is the riveting fourth book of the epic series, The Fair and Fey, translated from the High Elven of Sashegh’s third journal by J. Ellyne. The series began 9,000 years ago when Sashegh and her people came to our world. The Elves of Avalon, a blockbuster of a novel, tells of the end of Elves in our world and a new twist on Arthurian legend, plus erotic romance aplenty.

The Elves of Avalon (The Fair and Fey #4) Reviews

“The Elves of Avalon” is more than a worthy sequel to the first 3 books in the “Fair and the Fey Series.” This tome expands on the Arthurian legend and places all that happens within the intricate, complex, and fascinating world that J. Ellyne created in the first 3 books. Then it goes on to weave many historic and mythological themes, including Elves, Demons, Pantheism, the early British, Angles and Saxons, the Arthurian Legends and the characters within them into a stunning panoply of epic proportions, gripping story, soft, sweet erotica, and splendid character development.

This big, big novel has everything a lover of fantasy, mythology, history, and erotica would want.

I love the underlying story, and J. Ellyne uses it to make this long, delightful novel interesting and meaningful. It is dazzling in its sophistication, writing, storytelling, and the interplay of its characters. J. Ellyne is the kind of writer that makes me proud to be a writer.

The author’s talent at creating a complex story of a beautifully intricate world is impressive, and I humbly bow to her talent. I have no idea how she keeps all this information in her head as she’s writing but, I can say with confidence, that I've never read anyone, save perhaps Tolkien, who can hold an entire fantasy world together and weave a wonderful, believable, intricate story within it, like J. Ellyne can. That said, her world is bigger than Tolkien's, and yet she pulls it solidly together.

The Elves of Avalon speaks to the meaning of life itself, and could be a metaphysical book of its own, yet J. Ellyne is able to introduce it and develop it in the context of a dynamic, interesting story. Perhaps the author is onto something - and something few other fantasy authors of Elves, Demons and Arthurian legends has touched upon. As a result, the reader gets more than a finely-crafted story; the conscientious reader will pick up on the opportunity to think about life and reality in ways they might not have thought about before.

The writing is near perfect. Ms. Ellyne’s command of English is so good, that it's better than 99% of the authors out there, including many famous authors.

The author does a masterful job of introducing evil into the Otherworld, where Elves and Priestesses live an idyllic life in peace. She positioned it to both bring this story to a conclusion, and set up expectations for the next. The concept of good versus evil and the Creator's decision around balance versus slight dominance of evil over good is a wonderful concept that I’m sure will be expanded further in subsequent books.

If what I’ve written seems like high praise, it’s intended to be. The author has charmed me with the fun, interesting ideas, complexity and completeness of the reality she’s created.

I hope you buy and read this book! You will be forever glad you did.

Lots of healthy horses were needed & then trained.
2 Gryphons: Grraack, Emyrraul & Goldeney (giant seabird), joined the entourage.
Later Ryyssa & Vilya were having wonderful female sex.

    Whose child was Morganna carrying?
Much later King Arthur knighted: Twllyyss (m), Morganna, Morgause, & Nyynnwe.
Arthur asked King Rhydderch Gwynedd (Wales) for 500 soldiers to battle the Scots & Picts that were raiding the northeastern border of Gwynedd.
What were Ruavina (Nunesse’s daughter) & Pan (god of the Pagans, Pagan, Pantheist, land of Arthannegh, Celtic regions) up to?

What was King Arthur doing in Camelot?
What happened to super sexy Vilya (aka Sashegh reincarnated Aquatic Elf)?

A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures, character, environment descriptions, & font/writing style. Wow, a very well written King Arthur erotic fantasy book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great King Arthur erotic fantasy movie, animated cartoon, or better yet a paid-per-view mini TV series. Not my normal read but a very easy rating of 5 stars.
