    REVIEW

    *May contain spoilers *
Olivia and Ash left us off with Ash proposing. But this couple never get a chance for much their lives are always go.

Olivia is having nightmares, they revolve around being controlled, and that is the last thing she will ever allow to happen in her life again. Her ex Alan had done it for their entire marriage. But Ash was her knight in shining armor wasn't he?

This couple is thrown through the wringer in this book. So many tragedies and on top of that a birth. Can they weather it as they have been doing? Well let me tell you without giving too much away. The author throws us on one hell of a rollercoaster of emotions so all I can say is. Hang on it is a bumpy ride.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

    Great series

I enjoyed all the books in this series. The plot and characters were well developed. It had lots of twists and turns. It was a great read!

  • Monica Sarff

    Good read

Very enjoyable cast of characters and creative storylines. I really enjoyed this book full of every emotion. Great to see older characters have such full lives.

half way but oh my the best was yet to come which I didn't think was possible as so much had happened already!
It's a fantastic book with an ending no one would expect, I was totally thrown by a lot of things in this book (in a good way) and this really makes the book and makes you not want to put it down. I read it into the early hours of the morning because I couldn't put it down but was in tears and my husband woke thinking something was wrong with me, I've never cried reading a book, I've been close but never cried out loud, it's normally been just a lump in my throat and maybe my eyes watering a tiny bit, but with this book I couldn't stop the tears flowing, and I couldn't put the book down until I knew what was going to happen! Out of the box was the best title ever because she most definitely thinks out of the box with this book.
I'd recommend it to anyone that likes a love story full of emotion. I had a range of emotions through it and I loved that about the book and could see how they felt at every turn off the page although sometimes I wished she'd written it differently with Liv, I can now see why she did it now I've finished the book, a truly great book I wish I'd read the others first but will read them now and just hope they are half as good as this book although I can't see them having such an effect with my emotions as this book did but you never know

In this third book of the trilogy, Olivia and Ash are still made for each other, despite all the ways life comes between them. Their second chance at love comes with secrets and some baggage from past relationships. Liv is afraid of regressing to her old ways of keeping the peace, and Ash is more used to being independent than part of a couple. Then there are the family issues that threaten to tear everyone apart.

Hot, sexy scenes prove that the sex is still sexy as you get older. The love and respect between Ash and Olivia is heartwarming and wonderful. Being a couple isn't easy. There are ups and downs and potholes to fall into, and they do. This story kept me absorbed and wondering how everything would turn out. Everyone from the other two books is in this one. Unfortunately, they are brought together because a secret was unexpectedly exposed.

There was a very romantic scene in the story made so much more romantic by Ash. He is a fantasy come true for Olivia, as she is for him. I believed in their love story. They had to work through their issues together with some help. I felt that they were more relatable because of that.

Then there was the scene that had me yelling, "OMG!" I was so surprised and scared. I could not put my Kindle down. It just could not be happening.

Their ending was earned. It is sad to know that the trilogy is over. I enjoyed it and will re-read it.

I was so excited, looking forward to reading about how Olivia & Ash are doing, if they set a date yet, and of course how far the boys of "Avenue" have come since I saw them last..... I was in no way, shape or form prepared for the storm of heartache after heartbreak that waited around what felt like every single corner. I can't remember the last time I cried my way through a story....
Tragedy hits, bringing a secret to light, ripping through the very foundation of the Harper family..... Olivia finds herself in crisis as something triggers old buried resentments that have her questioning....well....everything..... and the hits just keep on coming. Just as I think I've sniffled my last, WHAM, BAM, HELL NO MAMM!...... the most unbearable, unbelievable, stop my heart, this can not happen.... happens......
I swear to the Goddess the only time I wasn't on the verge of screaming, crying, or swearing like a sailor was during the erotic romance scenes...... I really didn't see all of this coming and I can't even vent because I'd spoil it for you. All I can say is....
Buckle up Buttercup, keep your nose, toes and elbows inside the ride at all times & try to hold on tight!!!!!!
I SO recommend this to 18+ readers. I also recommend starting this journey from the beginning for a better understanding of what is happening.

"Out of the Box Everlasting" by Jennifer Theriot is book three in this series about Ash and Olivia, an older couple, who find love with one another despite the family and life dynamics that could rip their happy family apart. Between lies, and leftover crap from previous marriages, thankfully they work it all out and come out on top.
I went through a myriad of emotions while reading this story: happiness, anger, sadness, understanding, joy, anger and disappointment, shock, wtf, irritated, and finally contentment. When you read the book you'll understand what I mean, but I won't give any of that away. Although I'm younger than the couple in the book, I have really enjoyed this couple and their journey to find love even though they are closer to my parents age than mine. I think they're very young at heart and that makes them appealing to me. This series is intriguing in its dynamics and depth of character but still kept realistic in their emotions. Don't be afraid to check out this second chance love story!

Note: Edited for clarity by me on 4/4/2016

I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of this story. The characters were multifaceted with personalities that were strong, caring, and sometimes, detrimental to the character themselves.

Ash and Olivia, our very much in love older couple who are facing the challenges of life, sex, and family.

Ash and Olivia are trying to share the difficult reality of blending two families of grown children and all the secrets, some devastating, into a loving family. And sadly, comments and thoughtlessness can bring everything down!

I did not want this story to end. It was well written and very enjoyable.

I strongly recommend you read this book, both female and male readers!

    Communication Is Key

I grabbed this story simply by the cover. Two sets of hand hearts and wedding bands. Knowing that all couples who make it work use some thinking "outside the box" it spoke to me. I had no idea it was part of a trilogy until the very end. As it reads as a standalone, this story is compelling. It pulls at your soul and mind. Every time our significant other does something that irritates us we seriously must examine why as well as communicate our feelings to each other.

Love how they both have baggage, love and argue in the same breath, as well as need each other to fully live life to the fullest. Family and loved ones are not necessarily flesh and blood. Great story of strength and confession of the inner heart

First I received a ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. This one is sure full of surprises. I have been following the series and wondered how this was going to play out. I got grabbed and shook a little at the end. Woke me right up. I found the story well done and it finished off perfectly. Life can throw a real monkey wrench into a person's life sometimes and that was elegantly portrayed in this story. Two other things; if people truly love each other they will go to whatever lengths are necessary to survive as a couple. And there are big alpha males who will do what it takes to keep a family intact. Good book.

  • Molly

A really lovely and worthy book.
Romance stories can be so repetitive. This one isn't. For a start, the series concerns love between more mature characters, i.e. one of them is sixty, but still sexy and alpha.
Then the problems they face require life experience and knowing the right thing to do.
But you're really not reading a boring pensioners tale, the way there is swearing and romance. This is really well written, enjoyable and beyond age brackets and genre limitations.
Liv and Ash are a great couple of protagonists. Theriot has found a niche in the market and fills it very well.
    Brilliant!

  • Kim Page

It is so seldom that good love stories are written about 50 somethings and this one takes the cake AND ice-cream! I read one of the other reviews and it was the perfect description of Olivia...reading each book is like meeting up with an old friend and chatting about life and what's new! Jennifer Theriot does a FABULOUS job making each character distinctive, unique personalities and I love them all!
With each book you not only get the love story between Olivia and Ash but also the love and respect of a blended family as well as extended family (Tommy's band members)! Love, Love, Love Out of the Box series....every book is a thing of beauty!!

*FYI...with this one you will need tissues!

Out of the Box Everlasting was another great book in this great series. Jennifer Theriot is an amazing author who will make you fall in love with the characters. I have loved reading everything about Ash and Olivia. Ash and Olivia are great characters , I felt like I was experiencing things with them. I love this story and can't wait to read more by Jennifer Theriot. This is a series that I would recommend to everyone.

  • Tina Clark

Wonderful story. I can't get enough of this family. Olivia tries to understand how she is feeling and wants to continue with the next step itch Ash but afraid she is jumping too quick and don't want to make the same mistake with her ex. I love the relationship she has with Ash sons and the band, especially Todd. Love Todd and Tommy. Can't wait to read their story. I think I have a new author to follow.

  • amandra

I can't even I am so mad and yes I know the circumstances were not legit but Todd is my favorite and when you did that I just wanted to throw my kindle seriously
Jennifer Theriot that was just mean so you get downgraded a star!

  • Nancy

    Disappointed

This seemed to drag a bit . I think it would have been better at 100 pages and left off the the farce at the end.

Out of the Box Everlasting (Out of the Box Book 3): A Second Chance Romance Series by Jennifer Theriot

I'm going with 5 stars because thats all im allowed, but this book is deserving of so many more.

I am completely Speechless...Finished this part of the series about 30 minutes ago and can not even function right now.

So much happened in this book and Im wore slap out, a better word would be ruined, or shattered, or shocked...I just don't know…

I'm gonna try to write a review for this book, I will however not get into any of the storyline itself because first, there is too much, and second it would ruin the whole series if I did that. I mentioned in my last review that I feared many of the bonds in this book would be tested and I was doing a lot of praying… Well that praying never stopped throughout every page. I don't know if I have ever been affected so drastically by words in a book, but when I say there were times it took my breath away I'm not even kidding, and when I say I couldn't read some parts till I dried my eyes I'm not even kidding. I felt this story deep within me and I was constantly being derailed because I would think oh I know what is going to happen and then that which I thought would happen didn't and I’d end up shaking my head because it would take a whole different course...A brilliant course!

I can't even comment on the last quarter of this book...I'm just thankful that this author will never know what I was thinking or the names I may or may not have called her.

    Simply Brilliant!!

Out of the Box Everlasting is the third and final book in the Out of the Box series by Jennifer Theriot. It packs quite a punch, and not just emotionally. It is quite intense, suspenseful, dramatic, and nerve-wracking… and is my favourite of the three books.
It was a little bittersweet to read as I wanted to know how everything would play out, so I was completely invested in what I was reading, but also a little sad that the series was coming to an end.
There was so much character development and growth throughout the series, especially for Olivia- who grew the most. There was heartache, emotion, romance, love, mystery, suspense, tragedy, secrets, twists, unexpected developments, and much to overcome for the characters on their journey towards happiness. Ms. Theriot certainly put them through their paces, that’s for sure.
Again, this story picks up where the previous book left off. So, having said that, I really recommend reading all the books, in sequence, so you have all the details that you need to full appreciate this book, and the series as a whole.
As expected, Ms. Theriot didn’t disappoint, as this is both clever, and a fitting conclusion to the series!

    Thank you, Ms Theriot!

Out of the Box Everlasting (Out of the Box Book 3): A Second Chance Romance Series
    By: Jennifer Theriot
    5 out of 5 stars

The story Out of the Box Everlasting (Out of the Box Book 3): A Second Chance Romance Series by Jennifer Theriot is the third book in a series that I can only describe as awesome and amazing. This series captured my heart and spoke to my soul. Ash and Olivia are facing tragedy and chaos. Olivia finds herself again with uncertainty and feelings of betrayal. One thoughtless decision made has the ability to destroy the relationship that Oliva and Ash hold so dear. What does the future hold for Ash and Olivia? Read this book to find out. All throughout this series the characters of Ash and Olivia have been well-developed and I found myself thinking of them more as friends than characters in a book. There are many other additional characters that are introduced throughout the three stories which I fell in love with as well. Their lives and that of Ash and Olivia are intertwined and I couldn’t see the story without any of them. Don’t miss out in the third book in a series that I couldn’t stop think about even after I had finished it. Highly recommended.

Out of the Box Everlasting is the third book in this series. While these three books wrap up each story in a standalone fashion, there is so much going on in this story that I highly suggest you read them in order. I have loved these characters from the beginning, especially Todd. And the fact that these stories are centered around an older fifty-something couple came as a refreshing series read for me. There are stories within the story to cover all age groups, from a baby all the way up.

But Olivia and Ash are getting married! Or are they? This story opens with an emotional bang and the rollercoaster ride begins from there. Hang on because there are plenty of twists and turns, OMG moments, what-the-heck moments, sad moments, MAD moments, and then relief. I liked the traveling that went on between Houston, Chicago and Seattle. And I love the passion these two characters have.

Buckle up for this up and down ride to Olivia and Ash’s Everlasting happily-ever-after. I truly enjoyed all three book of this relatable love story. Looking forward to more stories from Jennifer Theriot!

  • Karen Hrdlicka

This is the final book in the Out of the Box series and maybe the most intense of the three. So many emotions, so much heartache, but so much love. The ending of book two makes for a tense beginning to the Ash and Olivia's engagement. The secrets from Ashe's past threaten to implode his sons' lives and decisions are made that throw Olivia for a loop.
Feeling disillusioned and dominated by yet another man, Olivia finds sanctuary to sort out her emotions. Not an easy task with Ash missing his fiancée and soul mate. These characters are like old friends by now and you are routing for everything to play out okay. And just about the time it does, Ms. Theroit throws a huge monkey wrench in the works. I was so mad I almost didn't finish the book. I had a lot of time and emotion invested in their relationship and was angry that the book took the turn it did. Thankfully, the plot was righted and all was well. I look forward to other books by this author. Her characters are dynamic and her writing emotional.

  • Bobbi Wagner

This is the third book in this series. We get to see the conclusion to Olivia and Ash’s story. I was excited to see what happened with them and if they get their happy ever after. They are great characters that bring the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Will their demons finally catch up with them? What does fate have in store for them? Their story is a must read. I didn’t regret picking up this series.
